Great tool, BUT....
Like every other Milwaukee tool I've used, this one works very, very well. It has plenty of suction and it's easy to empty. HOWEVER, 1) make sure you have extra batteries if you have a big job, and 2) also make sure you have plenty of compressed air, either from a compressor or from cans, to clean the filter. It does a good job of catching very fine dust from sanding, but like the company's battery-powered hand-held sander, it generates AND picks up a LOT of dust and must not only be emptied frequently but the compressed air is necessary to keep the filter clean. It's has baffles and dust fills up & sticks between the baffles, requiring compressed air to thoroughly clean. Other than that, enjoy! :)

Great pick up power
This has great suction. Light weight to use. I can easily get under my sectional couch which had been an issue with any other portable sweeper. Good quality without the high sticker price. Just turn it on and go! The cordless feature makes it easy to use anywhere from house to car to camper. Plan on buying a 2nd to keep in the camper. Only thing we don't like is it uses up batter power pretty quickly so not ideal for household use but great for car, boat, and camper.

Trips Milwaukee battery's warning lights
Functionally, it works. But you shouldn't buy one of these, at least not for Milwaukee batteries, as it exceeds the specs for the batteries. As soon I run it, if I then press the battery-charge-level button on the battery, it flashes. Milwaukee doesn't share the meaning of the error codes, but I think it's a pretty safe bet that it's drawing more current than the batteries are designed to handle. Vacuum cleaners are kinda famous for pulling a lot of current as they spin the motor up. Given that the batteries cost more than the unit, you'll be better off paying for one that has a proper current-limiting startup circuit. Beyond that, note that the seller claims it's "protected by a US Patent". That's true, it is. But the patent they cite is a "design patent", which just covers the look of the thing. So all that patent tells you is that nobody else is going to be able to legally sell a vacuum that looks just like this one. It doesn't tell you that the workings of it aren't infringing on somebody else's patents. If you don't mind chancing the battery light, it works pretty well for most things, but I got it specifically to help pick up some of the crumbs from the composite decking that I work on. For that, it struggles because the hose outflow is very close to the filter, so these crumbs (which are long and stringy) clog up quickly. Emptying out the bin is not really a hassle, unless you're having to do after 30 seconds of vacuuming, like I was. If it's just sawdust or something, it'll not clog up like that, so YMMV. Finally, this thing works okay on the less-expensive "Compact Power" battery line from Milwaukee (used in drills, for example), but it runs a whole lot better on the high-output batteries designed for circular saws. But given those batteries start at $150, it's not gonna get another taste of mine.

Powerful and Reliable — A Must-Have Cordless Vacuum!
Powerful and Reliable — A Must-Have Cordless Vacuum! This cordless vacuum exceeded my expectations! The suction power is easily a 5/5 — it handles everything I throw at it. From sawdust in the workshop to pet hair in the car and general messes around the house, this vacuum just works. It’s surprisingly powerful for its size and super versatile. Yes, it's a bit loud, but honestly, that's a small tradeoff for the performance it delivers. The design is solid, and it feels like it was built to last. Proud to have this in my gear — highly recommended!

Very good vacuum
This review is for makita version vacuum. First of all let me make it clear to everyone: people think it's an original makita or dewalt vacuum. It is not. Its a very good copy of dewalt dvc501h model. Maybe it's made in the same factory because the quality is very good. Thr vacuum is made of quality material but the attachment pipes are of cheap material. You have to snug fit the pipes so they won't come apart when using the vaccum. I have used the original makita 18v , 5AH battery and it was enough to clean my whole apartment. I have no carpet, just floor. So it worked out fine for me. If you buy makita batteries from other venders then chances are, they may not be original batteries. An original makita battery 18v 5ah goes for $150 bucks in homedepot. So if you are buying a makita battery for 27 dollars, you can't expect the same performance as the original battery. Some people have complained that the vacuum shuts off after a minute or a few seconds. This is not because of vacuum. Your batteries are either too small, too old or defective. They just don't have the current to keep up with this vacuum motor. Get a good quality original battery and see the magic. Some people are saying, it didn't come with a battery or a cord. Hahaha. You have paid for just the tool. It says clearly in the description that no battery will be shipped. The vacuum is noisy but i don't care. I used it to clean my apartment floor and also my car interior. I have a shop wet/dry vacuum and so happens, the flexible pipe that came with that vacuum, fits this cordless vaccum perfectly. So i had used it to clean my car with the small brush attachment. The hose was used from my "stealth " 3 gallon, 3hp, wet/dry vacuum. Let's just say, i got lucky. I bet i will not be using my shop vac for a while. This little machine does it all very easily.

Good price.
So far this is a nice small vacuum. Seems to have a lot of suction power. My DeWalt batteries fit and power it up. I bought this to use to clean out my pellet grill mostly. Comes with different attachments and two filters. I think this is a good buy at a third of the brand name vacuum.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great cordless vacuum!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great cordless vacuum! This vacuum is powerful and easy to use. The suction is strong for its size, and the different attachments make it perfect for cleaning floors, carpets, and even the car. The battery lasts well, and the HEPA filter works great. Lightweight and convenient — definitely worth it!

Brilliant piece of kit. I have had mine for nearly a year and I have to order another one as my wife has taken ' ownership ' of mine. Bought to replace a Makita Stick Vacuum and it is in a completely differant league for way under half the cost. I wanted to leave it this long before I wrote a review to see haw it faired and it is as good today as the day I bought it.

Muy complicado quitar el filtro. Necesitas jna bateria de las grandotas para aspirar mas de una habitación. La de 1.5 solo es para 7 minutos

I have had this for over a month. Although it does a good job vacuuming, the unit isn’t very sturdy. One of the tubes has cracked as the material is very thin. I repaired it using glue and a worm drive hose clip.

I already have the original DeWALT vac, just received this one and tried it to clean the living room, around 10 minutes and the 5Amp battery still has 2 blocks juice. It's exactly as the same with the original one, but this one has more accessories and comes with one extra HEPA filter. Bettery little heated up but i was not sure if this was also happening with the original vac, just noticed this since i read from other reviews. I'm totally happy with my purchase as i paid less than half the price of the Dewalt.

Only just received this product but impress to date, it is louder than expected but that is to be expected as it sucks really well. As per other reviews I would highly recommend buying filter covers to protect dust and large items getting stuck in the filter as it does take time to get these clean again. Or buy spare filters so it can be swapped over and the wet one can be left to dry.
