You can really tell this has been hand forged, which adds to the beauty and charm in my opinion, and there are no sharp edges on the handle at all it is very smooth and comfortable. The sheath is real leather, and also a really good quality. I am absolutely impressed by this little knife. It is very sharp and solid but it isn't heavy at all, it doesn't pull on your neck when you wear it and it's such a nice addition to have with you, especially if you don't have pockets all the time to have a pocket knife with you. It's handy to have a blade with you just in case. If you do need to use this as a defense weapon it may be a bit difficult with the way the handle curls around, but it is better than having nothing in a situation where you'd like to have at least something! I would absolutely buy more products from Toferner in the future after seeing the quality of this item. For the price I am so happy with what I have received. I have not put it through any 'strenuous' testing, but this piece seems like the highest quality and strength you could ask for in such a small piece. The little 'squirrel tail' on the end is such a cute touch too, and also a testament to the craftsmanship since that isn't always the easiest thing to do, especially so small and without any sharp edges. The only thing I could say about this product was that I wanted to put a decorative 'double coin knot' on there, and the square string really made it difficult and a bit wonky looking and I will probably replace it with a round one just for this reason, but that is completely my aesthetic choice and not anything to do with the quality of the product. Overall, 10/10 on looks and quality!!! Would absolutely recommend. I will be purchasing a larger blade from Toferner in the future because the quality seems outstanding and it seems like they have very talented bladesmiths making their products.

I bought this to wear around my neck while hiking for both personal protection & to have a knife handy for mundane tasks like slicing cheese. I've used it through a few seasons and I really like it. The blade has held its edge. It's a well-made, attractive blade. The sheath is a bit stiff, but I wear it over a shirt so it's not touching my skin.The leather thong that's included is not durable. I replaced it within a few days with a chain. But that's the only issue I've had with this product.On a side note, if you're going to use this for protection, be aware of how you'll need to hold the blade to avoid seriously injuring your hand.

I bought this item several years ago and it's still in great shape. When in use I wear it like a ring - and it looks like a ring - with the knife part resting in my hand. It takes an solid edge, and is very useful for pruning the vines on my garden fence and going on nature walks. I looked at a lot of other 'finger' knives, and they are either too big, too tricked out, too expensive, or of questionable quality. This is the one you want!

Really cool product! I’ve been wearing it around several days in a row now when I go up and down the stairs to have it at the ready for opening boxes and more. As long time stock worker and professional organizer, I am away slashing boxes.If you don’t like to carry around your average razor blade/pocket knife/or deal with something clipped to your bell, this is a nice alternative for women especially as it looks like a necklace and is not heavy.As with everything it is of course a weapon to be used with care, but for the size it’s nice and sharp which all good and I should be, and came with nice paperwork and instructions about the brand with lovely photographs etc. to inspire future orders.I’d be interested to continue to collect their products.Good value for the money, very useful and giftable. I would gladly buy another.

Craftmanship was legit. Definitely smaller than what I thought it would be but it's super cool, sharp and overall please.

I was looking for stocking stuffers for family into the live action Viking scene. These little handmade knives were beyond my expectations. The fine details on the blade are lovely, they have little sheathes tooled with Norse imagery, and, while small, they are very sharp. I recommend this seller, they have beautiful practical blades.

Very well made. Came very sharp. Needed to slightly modify case so lanyard did not have a knot by my neck by punching two additional holes with a leather punch. It came rust free sealed in a bag. Keep it oiled lightly and it should last forever. Great gift. And I'll keep the heritage by wearing it. Better than a pocket knife for me. Very personal item for even a big man like me. Great for everyday little chores. Good for defense as a last ditch. But it's there to be part of you like it should. It does not look threatening.
