I spent the past year buying and testing tapes.then I wrote this long review because I love this stuffTape that I can move and it will still hold - even after moving it still holds so well you can hardly tell the difference ...!Like in a in print shop, that where the we get copy and past from,I used most to holding paper to the drawing board most hold for as long as the project last, hold paper for stretching after wetting it dries shrinking tight.I placed tape all over the house to see if it will work on surface like windows my fridge sometimes the bathroom mirror, on stainless steel.my last 4 runners up all worked well this brand was the very bestGAFFER POWER BRANDCONSOLE TAPEeven beat Scotch Tape (they make more tape than anyone. GREAT PRODUCT! Would be great if it were sold in a package of same-sized small blocks to put over switches, outlets, etc...but then again, painter's tape surely needs to be used in longer strips for PAINTING! HOW I USED IT: New home. Tons of switches. Old owner had BLUE painter's tape marking things. Many were not marked. Because walls are white, I redid the blue tape with this white. I can remove as we familiarize ourselves with everything. Plus, guests are not put off by blue tape everywhere. LOL. Nice to be able to mark things so that guests can read them, too.

I curated a 450 piece collection of China, tagging and pricing each piece. Used another tape first, but it did not work as well.Easy to write on. Stays firmly in place. Easy to peel off when necessary.Absolutely the best tape for the job

Pro: good looking tape; flat, not wrinkled like most blue tape which gives it a nicer look.A bit more adhesive than blue tape, but after about a week on a painted surface, I was able to remove it without any residue or paint damage.Con: The "white" tape I received was more of a cream color, with a yellow hue. I almost returned for that reason, but I decided to use it where it wouldn't show.

Easy to tear, easy to write on, ink doesn’t bleed, stays stuck where you stick it but easy to strip off when you’re done and leaves no residue. In short, it does exactly what board tape should.

Awesome for console tape !

I have a strong disdain for “getting the bottles ready” for daycare each day. I’ve tried other systems like the silicone band that “erases” and computer printed labels. I end up having to put clear tape over the computer labels because they leave a sticky residue when they get wet. I had planned to just pull the label off, but the daycare rinses the bottles, so I’m left with using Goo Gone to take the residue off the plastic each night.Enter “Gaffers Tape,” and a Sharpie. This tape can stay on all day and even get wet when rinsed, and it still comes right off with a simple pull with no trace it was ever there. I’ve had my roll for a few months, and I still have plenty left.One day when I got home, my nephews used it to secure the sides and a door of a giant cardboard box to make a fort. Though I was aggravated because this tape is more expensive than masking tape, I understood why they thought it was a plain old (yet perfectly white) roll of tape. I noticed it also works quite well as makeshift hinges for cardboard doors.I will absolutely buy this again when we run out as I have used it to label storage totes and even ice trays with puréed baby food inside. I slapped it on a casserole dish for a potluck at work. It cones off glass, plastic, and even my hardwood floors(from the fort fun). It just comes in handy, so I’ll keep it and replace as often as needed.
