Excellent machine
This carpet cleaner is excellent. I was on the verge of throwing our filthy cream coloured rug away as I didn’t think it could be saved. We also have a grey rug that had pet stains on and wasn’t smelling very fresh. This carpet cleaner is fantastic, it has saved both rugs and they look and smell great. The cream rug has a long pile and was looking a bit matted on the high traffic areas, it did take a bit of perseverance and multiple pass overs on the really grubby bits but it’s even brought the pile back! The cleaning solution smells lovely and the shorter pile rug was very quick to clean and removed the pet stains easily. The machine is well made and very easy to use and set up, cord length is great, the suction is awesome as you would expect with Shark. Very happy 10/10

It's a Shark!
When you buy something Shark branded, you know it's going to be great. I am not disappointed. I used another brand of carpet washer some years ago and this is so much better. It's light, well made and cleans very well. It's shocking seeing how much dirt comes out of carpets you think aren't that dirty. This model came with a generous sized bottle of carpet shampoo, which smells gorgeous and cleans very well. There's a handy marker on the water tank, which shows how much water and detergent to use. The power cable is very long, which is also very useful. Maneuvering the cleaner is a breeze. It's useful to move forward slowly to give your carpets a deep clean. The machine automatically takes water from the carpet when you go backwards. Plus, there's a handy 'dry only' feature to go over the carpets again without adding more water.

Superb machine.
A superb machine. But somewhat embarrassed after using it, Never realised how disgusting the carpets where. The stuff that is in the waste tank looked like chocolate milkshake- the cleaning fluid went in clear as water. Quite light weight to use. And I like the push to clean and pull back to dry, plus the dry only cycle. The spot want is handy too for pet 'incidents' without having to use the full machine. We thought it would get used only every couple of months, however we are using it twice per month as easy to use as a vacuum. Would highly recommend for the price. Certainly more economical than the hire machines from the supermarket ( plus you family can borrow it)

Satisfied
I bought this as I live in rented accommodation, and the carpets were ugly and probably needed a clean when I moved in, but at the time I was stressed and also stoned a lot. I'm no longer stoned, ever. Anyway - on the first use, I could see a notable difference and the state of the dirty water indicated the carpets were last cleaned in 1982. The ugly carpets I've gotten to are still ugly, but now they're clean and it's a big improvement. I also have an oriental area rug that had gotten a lot of dust in it, no regular vaccum or hand shampoo could really get rid of that. That carpet was pretty and now she's back to being a stunner. So, performance wise, I'm happy. Another pro is the "dry only" mode. You can really reduce your drying time, it works very well. Not too tricky to assemble - I do suggest actually looking at the instructions. (I did). Cons - the water and shampoo compartment is pretty small. This carpet cleaner works by spraying the cleaner/water mix on each forward pass and extracting only on the reverse pass, whilst a brush spins constantly. So, depending on how dirty the carpet is - how many forward passes you're doing, the liquid can run out quickly. In my case, I had to refill it after about 2-2.5 square metres of carpet. Similarly, the dirty water container requires emptying when it's about half full. I ended up bringing a bucket into the room to empty it into rather than multiple trips to the bathroom. Taking it apart to clean isn't too tricky, but there is one part that doesn't come away from the body and I find a lot of dirt accumulates there, which is a bit more hassle to clean up. It is noisy. The plus side there is my cats stayed out of the way. Don't use it late at night if you live in an apartment or your neighbours will not be happy. I found that the cleaning water went exactly where it was supposed to go. There were no leaks or anything like that either. For the price I paid, I think this is good value for money. I got it at about €220. Final note - it's not in the instructions but I've read that it's actually important to follow up the washing with rinsing - putting only clean, warm water in the dispenser and doing some passes. Apparently, otherwise you're leaving shampoo on the carpet and this may end up *attracting dirt ". Either way, I did this and it was obvious it helped continue the cleaning, as the water extracted was still pretty manky. OK, I lied, one more final note - I don't find it too heavy, but it's not lightweight per se. I'm 59 without any serious physical issues. It's not too bulky either - I expected it to be worse tbh. I don't think any efficient deep cleaner is going to be small. I'm happy with the purchase.

Shark StainStriker Carpet cleaner
This is exalent, we used it for the first time today after buying it at a small discount from the Amazon warehouse as the box was damaged, when we first opened it we though maybe some of the parts would be missing with it being returned or kept back due to the box damage. Up on opening it everything was there cleaning solution, all the parts and the 5 different cleaning brushes. I was able to put it together myself and found it easy to use (I’m a woman but a bit of a tinker) but even if you had no idea how to assemble anything it is incredibly easy to work out. Only after I put it together did I realise there was a video on how to assemble it lmao. Anyway we have 2 puppies under two one who is still toilet training and so obviously they can make a bit of a mess from time to to by accident so we used this today and found that our carpets came out brand new we are absolutely impressed with this product and would recommend anyone to get it. To use it is really easy with most carpet cleaners you have to hold a button to use the water with this you don’t it does it all for you. The LEF lights at the top really help to maintain it and tells you when it needs to be emptied it, at the top of the tank it tells you what each light means and also selfs cleans when you set it to this helps when your a bit of a clean freak or a little OCD as you don’t have to get yourself dirty cleaning it manually. The effectiveness it’s astounding our carpets look emasculate and the suction when set to dry is fab to as it leaves the carpets almost 100% dry in regards to the size I find this good to as it’s just like a normal hoover so it is easy to remover around the place we are definitely happy customers and highly appreciated the quality for the price we payed

Shark
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m really impressed with the Shark Expert Carpet Cleaner! It’s powerful, easy to use, and leaves my carpets looking and smelling fresh every time. I wasn’t expecting such a big difference, but after just one use, I could actually see how much dirt it pulled out — even from areas that didn’t look that bad! The suction is excellent, and it doesn’t leave the carpet overly wet like some other machines I’ve tried. It dries quickly, which is a huge plus. The cleaner is also surprisingly lightweight and easy to maneuver, even when full of water. The design is well thought out — the tanks are simple to fill and empty, and the attachments make cleaning stairs and upholstery super convenient. I also love how easy it is to clean the machine itself afterward. The roller brushes and nozzles come off easily, so there’s no buildup or lingering smell. It feels like a high-end appliance that’s made to last, and the results are definitely professional-level for home use. If you have pets, kids, or just want to give your carpets a deep refresh, this is 100% worth it. Shark has done an amazing job — it’s one of the best cleaning purchases I’ve made!

Love this!
This was purchased after finding the Shark vacuum to be absolutely amazing and pulling dirt from the 40s from my under carpet floorboards, and with the carpet cleaner being on offer with £100 off, I had no choice really. My carpets in my rented accommodation are at least 20 years old, with the previous tenant never walking her 2 dogs. I've used a few carpet cleaners, Vax just made the carpets wet without leaning them, and I thought that my beast of a Bissell was doing a good job, it pulled up a lot of dirt, but then I tried this one. Half the size/bulk of my beast, though still pretty heavy to carry. First test was on my landing, some heavy traffic staining and coffee stains at the top of the stairs had been eyeing me for a while. With the beast, it would take between 2 and 3 hours. Sharky here did it in 40 minutes with a visible impression from the off. My carpet is 3 shades lighter in a fraction of the time. The detergent has a pleasant smell that lasted around 9 hours before nose-blindness kicked in. It seems to use less water, so the smaller water tanks wasn't an issue, though the dirty tank needed emptying halfway through. It pulls itself forward, taking half of the work out of it. I found that using deep clean mode to douse an area before switching to dry mode to go over it worked for me. Just remember to switch modes if you empty the tank in dry mode, it'll switch back to deep clean when yiu turn it back on. This has cut my carpet cleaning time by around 75%, and you can't argue with the results. The tanks are very easy to remove, even with arthritic hands, and a doddle to clean, especially when compared to the bag in bag type that I had previously. As it's half the size, it looks very sleek in comparison to the beast, and the sage green is actually a pleasant colour. Shark does other items in the same colour, which has kept my wife happy. If this machine lasts, then I'll be very happy. I'll update my review if it dies on me.

Shark carpet cleaner
This is the best carpet cleaner I’ve had , I’ve had a vax one and it didn’t clean as good as the shark one ,I have dogs and my carpets get so dirty , I couldn’t believe how good they came clean and it’s so easy to use , I also got a big bottle of cleaning solution with it , it’s not as noisy as the vax ones , the suction on it is so atrong , I like the fact it automatically releases the water and cleaning fluid so I didn’t need to do it
