We used this as a wedding album we gave to my husbands parents. It is a faux leather finish, 12x12 size pages with vertical and horizontal photo slots. easy to put photos in, easy to use. I agree that the photos fall out a little easier than other albums, but if you turn the pages a certain way it doesn't happen. Great gift idea!
