This Susan B. Anthony keychain was made from a U.S. dollar copper-nickel coin. Susan B. Anthony was a pioneer for women's rights. The domed side features Ms. Anthony, while the back depicts an American eagle landing on the moon holding an olive branch. Once these coins were minted and distributed, they were not widely accepted as practical use for currency by the American public. I oxidized the metal without using any chemicals leaving it a darkened color. After I drilled the coin, I domed, cleaned, oxidized, and polished it enhancing the details on the coin. This is truly a unique coin key ring. The dollar coin is wire wrapped to a key ring with heavy duty silver-plate wire. - The circulated domed dollar coin is 1 inch (26mm) in diameter and in excellent condition. It is wire wrapped with sturdy silver-plate wire to a 15/16 inch (24mm) diameter metal key ring. The total length of the keychain is 2 1/2 inches (64mm).
