This Hotdevil propane heater is run on 20 lb or 40 lb propane tanks, which is very practical and suitable for warm up small rooms and outdoor spaces such as patio. I use this heater to keep my patio modified gym room warm during the winter days, it functions perfectly well and raise the temperature of this 20’x25’ area to 75-83 °F pretty fast. The propane heater produces evenly spread and stable output by radiant from a ceramic heating panel, very powerful and there is no flames escape from sides. It is also equipped with the tip-over safety control and the automatic shut-down valve, which means it will automatically shut down the fuel gas input when the heater is accidentally moved or push down, effectively prevent any potential fire hazards. The propane heater is also equipped with self ignition and flame control knob, to start the heater, you need to turn the gas knob to a marker with flame logo and keep it push down, then at the same time push the trigger start to ignite the fire, I think this is some kind of child protection design to prevent accidental light up. After ignition DO NOT release the gas knob immediately, just keep it pushed down for a while until the flame is spread up and the ceramic panel turns into red, the release the button and you can freely adjust the flame size to the desire extent. The manual of this heater says that it is for outdoor only, but by my experiences I would say it is also work for indoor places as long as the room is adequately ventilated to prevent mono oxide piles up. Above all, this is a very powerful and safe propane heater, I would recommended it to all.

Where to begin. Absolutely NO heat control. Any spot on the dial is the same heat. Ignitor stopped working after 4 uses. Then the icing on the cake....the regulator began leaking propane. All the while sitting in the same spot in a garage. Take it for what it's worth, this is my experience . Could have taken the money and blown it on something else instead of filling my trash can.

Got this propane heater and immediately install it on my 20lb propane tank and light it up, God, it is such a savor in this cold weather! I used this propane heater to warm up my small workshop in the garage, and it perfectly does the job, brings Spring back to my working site. The assembling and using procedure are pretty easy, just read the manual and follow all the instructions, remember to use two wrench to fix it firmly on the propane tank. The hose is equipped with a pressure regulator which assure stable gas flow output at any temperatures. Press down and turn the gas knob then push the piezo ignition button, hold it for few seconds until the flame is evenly spread to the whole ceramic heating panel, then release and the adjust the fire to a desired level, then you are all set! There are many safety measures designed in this propane heater, such as the automatic shut off functions, so basically you will have no worries for fire hazards during using. I am very satisfied with this heater, I think it is perfect for garage, small shops, patios, or even outdoor camping sites. Highly recommended!

It works great on high but it sputters and seems to have a hard time working on low
