I completed two European mounts this year, one for myself and one for my daughter's deer. The mount worked fine for my deer, however, my daughter's would not stay on the hook. I ended up adding an extension to the hook which went up inside the skull farther, to keep it on the wall.In summary, they do work but it may take some additional engineering to get it to work for all mounts.

The media could not be loaded. It was simple to attach to the wall and it is solid. The antelope head fits easily and securely. I have been very happy with it.

i’m very irritated because i went to put this hook up for my skull and it doesn’t even fit the precut metal holes. why would they provide anchors if they are not going to work. so now i have a giant hole in wall and i can’t hang my skull up. plus the hook got in the way of the screw 0/5 stars

The mount worked great and though the photo is just a temporary location before I’ve finished the backboard mount, I’m already not understanding the metal antler styling of the top. It could’ve looked much cleaner without that and why would metal antlers be necessary for an antler mount? I just bought a few that didn’t have that 4-point antler look at the top and I’ll use those to complete the project.On the positive, it does support an actual skull so I’m sure it’ll easily also support the plastic euro mounts.

Put deer antlers on this and it kept falling off. Do not buy.

Don't waste your money. Bought these for European whitetail deer mounts. They will not hold the skull. Gave it a one star rating only because thats the lowest rating possible.

Way too small won’t even hold a deer head falls off . Absolutely a waste of money
