Rounded Back Chair/Stool Cushion for Tolix and Other Metal Chairs (Black)

Great for indoor use. I don't recommend for outdoor. These seat cushions fit my tolix style metal dining chairs perfectly and look great. I didn't want the metal chairs with the wood seat but also didn't want a bare metal seat. This is the comprise.These are not a supportive cushion/pad. They are is just a thin foam pad underneath the faux leather so it easily compresses and offers no support to your bottom. It's just going to be softer than sitting in the bare metal and let's face it, these chairs aren't the most relaxing chairs so the combination is fine.These are easily reulpostered so you can potential upgrade the foam support while matching your decor. Only thing I didn't like is that these cost $80 for how simple they are. However they seem to be made well with a thick faux leather material as an covering so I gave in and here I am writing a review.Again, I don't recommend this for outdoor seating as the compressed cardboard base will most likely deteriorate outdoors sure to moisture from rain. These will hold up fine against most drink spills since the base is firmly compressed against the metal seat when it's attached. However for heavy should, I'd recommend removing the cushion to clean between the seat and the metal to avoid the base getting soaked.

They are perfect. Reminds me of old school type chairs for a kitchen. Not squishy etc just basic n fit perfectly on my chairs..

The cushion really aided in the comfort of the chair, just not enough to make it a place to stay for long periods. You can make it through dinner but may want to have dessert somewhere else. installation was easy

nice, clever design. not the softest or most supportive materials, nor the highest quality materials but look like they will hold up. easy to install, nice upgraded look; modest additional comfort

These are a pain to install. The "screw" is not long enough. I'm handy, but after doing a few chairs where I was pushing on the pad and my daughter was trying to twist the "screw" for it to thread was awful. I still have a few more to do, might go to the hardware store to see if I can find longer screws. the cushions are decent. Wish they would upgrade the hardware!!

Finally, the kitchen chairs are suitable for his Highness Prince FuzzyButt to sit on them. The metal wasn’t comfortable and it held no warmth from the sunbeam coming in the window. Now it’s more cushy, warm and it matches the royal bottom. Bonus: he can pretend he is a ninja hiding in the dark. His words not mine.

Fit perfectly on the common metal bistro/dining chairs. They bolt on so you don't have to worry about them falling off when moving the chairs. Not the cushiest though, so not great for long duration sitting.

They are perfectly sized, made of high quality faux leather as nice as you'd see in any luxury car.BUT, and it's a big but, the thumb screws on all but one of my chairs are WAY too short to catch the thread in the seat pad as they pass through the metal opening. Whomever chose these thumb screws sized like thse wasn't thinking. iI's going to hopefully be an easy Home Depot fix, but if you spend almost $90 on four chair pads, you should not have to go to a hardware store to use them.I's just a shame that I can't use a product that is otherwise perfect, and need to make a special trip for four screws of some kind to simply secure the pad.

This product looks and fits great !!That being said I would have give it a 5 but I think there a little over priced.
