This product works as it is expected to. It is a total life saver if your trying to integrate modern tv's with vintage preamps.

I purchased this product because my Yamaha receiver does support HDMI but does not support ARC/eARC. With the Orei hda 939, I'm now able to get Dolby Atmos and full uncompressed sound!

Was able to use this device to connect up our AppleTV box, TV and our older in-ceiling speakers. So far, so good. Used another brand twice. The product died after a couple of weeks of use-twice. Just installed this one, hoping it lasts.

This did not downmix anything from dolby 5.1 or DTS 5.1 to stereo.

You can see where the feet were stuck on the bottom. There is an empty plastic bag in The box where the feet probably were. Everything banging around underneath. USA electrical plug just floating around. Crap. Probably need to return
