As a retired privacy/security consultant/author who still helps stalking victims via a non profit group, I'm always looking for ways to improve victim security. The strangest of needs or challenges can transpire. I ordered this Ougourim Fridge Lock to see if it was suitable to resolve a very specific challenge, and once examining and playing with it, will add it to my arsenal of solutions for other issues, as well.The specific challenge was a victim whose used motorhome came with no keys for the external storage compartments. I'd offer a photo of it in use on my rig, which I had intended to use to illustrate the my party, but I promptly lost the double-stick pads that came with it, though that only delays installation; they are easy to come by, on Amazon. It would not look any different than the fridge photo, anyway.Likes: extremely simple, low cost, and effective. The color looks good on most motorhomes or appliances, and likely, anything else you use it with. It won't stop anyone really determined to get past it, but to do so, they would need to damage it, leaving physical evidence, and stalkers don't like to do that, because they prefer that police never have reason to believe the victim, because thinking them paranoiac or schizophrenic is the goal of the stalker, almost always, and many law enforcement Officers are prone to such conclusions, having seen a lot of that going around.Though it comes with pads, there are also four indents on each piece to show you where to drill for a professional looking bolted installation. My party will be ordering several of these, and electing that option. The combination mechanism seems durable and workable without difficulty. Once open, one can set or change the combination with any small pointed object, an ink pen, key tip, etc. Takes 10 seconds, at the most.Dislikes: I'd like to see versions with longer cords, increasing the number of possible uses, but you don't want one that is longer than needed, either, so the short one is perfect, too.

I have bought many different locks to prevent my child to get into cabinets and rooms, but nothing have worked like this one. This is the only one he has not been able to open . I like that you can set the code you want. I like that it is 4 digit code. It works great, it sticks great. I love it. He has admit that I finally won. 😆

They sticky part isn't very sticky

This has been perfect to keep small children out of the fridge! Do you ever get tired of having to tide the door handle or perhaps you don’t have a door handle? Well, this is perfect for you! My best friend has been looking for some thing to keep her two rambunctious boys out of the fridge because they find it funny to get in there and play around. They also have special needs, and don’t always realize the gravity of what they’re doing is wrong. Their mother is a young single mom, so she needs all the help she can get. I decided to try this out for myself before getting it for her, and it’s perfect, very sturdy, easy to install, and like having an extra set of hands! I highly recommend!

The Ougourim Fridge Lock is a sturdy refrigerator lock. The adhesion and placement were very easy.I ran into problems setting the code. I pushed in at the appropriate place, but the combination I set did not work. The original combination no longer worked, too.I assumed a human error occurred, and I let off pressure without realizing it as I dialed the numbers. I have not discovered the proper code, but I disengaged the wire before setting the combination, so the refrigerator is accessible. Please make sure you maintain the proper pressure as you turn the combination digits.
