Just as good as the branded Midori/Traveler's Company items, and much cheaper and easier to purchase through Amazon. I use these in my journals, and they are absolutely fine. the quality is no less than the branded ones, and they've coped well with the use I've given them.Recommended.

The perfect addition to my journal
I must admit when I first ordered these little guys I was not sure what to expect. Had I just ordered myself a set of very overpriced elastic bands?But once they arrived, sure yes they are elastic bands, but by calling them that you are devaluing what is actually a very nice little item.For a start they appear far more hard wearing than a standard elastic band. They fit perfectly amongst the pages of my leather journal without causing much of a bulge to the pages. They are very stretchy but still firm enough that they hold the spare journal booklets in place. And to top it all off they are each ended with lovely little metal toggle which adds both style and uniqueness to my journal.In short they are a perfect addition to my journal and I am very happy that I ordered them.

Very pretty
Got these because of the bead, which makes them look so pretty. If you don’t like too much bulk, things sticking out, or like clean lines at the bottom of your TN then you probably won’t like these. For me though, I like the fact they are different to the usual elastic bands and somehow they just add a smile factor to my TN. Well made

Have yet to use one of these straps but, just from looking, they seem to be constructed of strong elastic with the knots protected by decorative brass toggles.Am delighted with them, a Christmas gift along with a TN leather cover.

Thick elastic and the metal pieces are too big. Too much for the passport size so I am returning them.
