Replacement battery fits my 14 year old DELL Studio laptop 1558 just fine. Stays charged between 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Laptop now running on Google Chrome Flex OS. SO - UPDATE AS OF 11-25-2024. It does NOT take 3 f'n weeks to resolve a defective battery situation. Let the BUYER BEWARE !!!! These folks DO NOT STAND BEHIND their product God forbid there is an issue. The battery I purchased worked perfectly for nearly 30 plus days and then decided to quit working properly very shortly after the time frame expired to return the battery. At his point - battery is not recognized by laptop. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these screwballs. I have been on a 3 week email conversation since Nov 3 with a joker named "Joe" . . . Joker Joe . . . and he keeps telling me a replacement battery is shipping out. WRONG WRONG WRONG . . . since this thread started on Nov 3 . . . have not received a replacement battery from good ole' Joe. I would highly recommend to any prospective buyer to steer clear of GHU batteries . . . IMO - they are NOT a reputable seller and have horrible customer service skills, this BS with a 48 hour window to respond to inquiries is 100% un-acceptable - GHU has ZERO skills as far as customer service is concerned. AND - Amazon really up to this point has NOT BEEN VERY HELPFUL to say the least. Yah, do yourself a HUGE favor - if you need a laptop battery - go to another seller - GHU sucks. They have my money and I have a defective battery.

I'm so glad I purchased this. My battery was old and began to not work properly. I'm grateful that Amazon had this for my ancient laptop....lol! I had this since my son was in high school and he has now graduated 🎓 from college 13 yrs ago and my laptop is running very well with this new battery. THANK YOU!

Battery failed in 6 weeks! PC was barely used and battery was never charged. Computer will not turn on and when charger plugged in it flashes a fault. Installed battery, turned on PC showed 100%. Turned off PC. Two weeks later turned it on an used it for a few minutescthen turned off and put away. Pulled it out again 4 weeks later an PC now will not turn on. Battery's built in indicator shows fully charged. Put in old battery that came with the PC and PC will turn on. Original battery still works after 16 years and new battery failed in 6 weeks just outside return window of 4 weeks. Reached out to manufacturer & waiting reply. Looking at other reviews there is someone who had the same issue a year ago. Same response. They don't honor their warranty so if it fails after the first month you are out of luck. Update - Received refund at end of December. Working with GHU customer service was more difficult than it needed to be. Tried getting a replacement but in the end pushed for and got a refund.

My Dell Studio 1555 is over 10 years old (which is saying a lot for the Dell) and my original battery died probably several years ago. This replacement battery was recognized by the laptop immediately and was at 69% when I installed it. It charged to 100% in about an hour. The instructions said to fully discharge it after fully charged, and repeat that a couple times to get the maximum capacity. That seems to work well. The battery gives over 3 hours of steady use watching videos.

Perfect fit for.my laptop...very satisfied...my laptop is an old one was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a new battery...but this is the recommended on and works great

Pros: This battery was easy to order and easy to install (the directions were spot on). The laptop worked immediately upon installing the new battery. A few years ago I needed a battery. At that time it cost @$60. Based on that, this was a good value. Cons: Even though I ordered thru Amazon the battery took a week to be delivered vs the usual 2-day shipment.

Ayant changé la batterie de mon PC pour avoir une meilleure autonomie, j'ai choisi ce modèle pour sa capacité similaire à l'originale (5200 mA). On n'en trouve pas beaucoup d'autres à cette capacité. Malheureusement, ça a beau être écrit sur l'emballage, il s'agit bien d'une 4400 mA ... donc annonce et packaging erronés ... Ça devrait quand même convenir, en mode éco sous Windows 10, essentiellement en navigation Internet / traitement de texte, je peux atteindre une autonomie entre 2h30 et 3h, ce qui est correct comparé à mon ancienne batterie bien fatiguée. Il serait bien de revoir l'annonce pour le coup.
