Hello everyoneI bought these excellent chess set few months ago and is very happy with it. It's a beautiful set, nicely weighted and I've received many compliments from friends who saw this chess set.Perhaps most of all, I am very impressed with their service, especially a gentleman called Mr Manjeep. He has really made my day. Recently my little kid played with one of my rook and broke it. I contacted Amazon and was referred to Mr Manjeep who promptly shipped me the rook replacement.I will strongly recommend to buy their chess set, not only is great value for money but gives reliable solid service.Cheers,Chris

Solid, well made and weighted this chess set is perfect for physical matches. Not to fancy, not to austere. The extra Queens are a nice value as well.

Very handsome chess pieces
These are the most handsome chess pieces I have ever owned. The product quality is high and the shipping is free. However, the packaging is rather dusty and of very cheap quality. Pieces are nicely weighted and fit my 18 x18 board perfectly. The design of Leningrade set is very elegant but not too otherworldly. I especially like the crestfallen knight expression. The black pieces, however, seem to be much older/dustier that the white pieces. The felt-pad underneath black pieces are old and very dusty. Overall another very good purchase from Staunton Castle.
