The Earth's Greatest Warriors are back in Dragon Ball Kai, an HD Remaster and Recut to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of author Akira Toriyama's hit anime Dragon Ball Z. Using Dragon Ball Z's footage, the series has been remade in high definition and recut, removing most traces of filler for the sake of a faster pacing, sticking closer to the original manga work. Taking place five years after the events of the original Dragon Ball series, Kai covers the later stories of Son Goku, Earth's Greatest Warrior. Having finally settled down and made a family of his own, Goku seems to be adjusting well to the times of peace. However, the peace is short-lived as an intergalactic visitor claiming to be Goku's brother makes a crash landing to the planet. With the fate of entire galaxies at hand, Goku and the rest of the warriors must reunite, confronting progressively stronger foes in the continuous fight between good and evil.

Great even without the filler.
As a big DBZ fan I like to have all the dvds and blu-rays, while most purists will say Kai is not as good as the originals I only half agree, yes I grew up with the old proper versions but this is a great way to get others into the saga. My wife has seen some of the originals but she gets bored with the filler content dragging out as does my son so these are a treat to watch with them! The only downsides really is the awful opening credits, but these are easily skipped!Movie Mars were great, had an issue with first lot dispached (seasons 2, 3 & 4 all together, I assume it was customs or lost in transit) but they got me sorted and sent them out seperate so the individual parcels didnt get held up by customs or anything so I can't fault them for their service, speedy and polite so a big thumbs up!

Dragonball z kai season one part 4
okay the first thing is that it is just as good as the previous 3 volumes soundtrack good, voice acting good especially the aggresion! but the one thing that i was most disappointed with was (spoilers!) is gokus transformation simply cause ive seen it on z! its not that is rubbish far from it its just i personally prefer the original for 2 reasons.1, after krillins death its doesnt feel as personal as in z (no time to reflect!) and2, the music when goku transforms in z in well no words can describe how good it was but in this version theres no music!but what is better in this is again aggresion and language which makes it feel more adult!apart from that and missing/changing one liners i am glad i bought this just wish they ended frieza saga with this volume not 3 more to go on next volume!
