Prompt delivery, excellent product. Very pleased with these small salt and pepper mills, having wasted money on several supermarket versions before. These actually grind properly and are adjustable. Highly recommended.

So the aesthetics is gorgeous - the top tightening knobs feel like [they may be] pewter. Grinds very well. the tightening knobs do tend to slacken a little but a quick check and [if needed] tighten after each use is [for me] part of the ceremony. The salt and pepper grind nice and finely. Like I said, I'm going to get another set for the kitchen keeping these for the dining table. (as a side, I previously bought the le creuset set for I think £70 but I didn't get on with them so I gave them to charity and in the meantime made do with the "Barts" supermarket spice aisle mills...that is until now)

Very disappointing product. Very expensive so you expect an excellent grind of salt and pepper but they never really worked as well as much cheaper versions we had already. The salt never seemed to grind properly at all, and now a bit more than a year later, the wood has cracked. This is looking like a shoddy product with none of the original quality of the brand. Avoid.

The pepper mill seems good so far but the salt mill does virtually nothing, straight from the box - a light sprinkling of barely visible white dust falls from the grinder for every five or six turns. Not what I expected from the name.

Not as high quality as I would have liked. Grind well, but white paint is now peeling off the bottom of the grinder. The wood is also splitting after only a few months. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

I got this for a very good price, for what it is. My mum absolutely loved it. Please note this is not like the taller version that allows you to regulate the grinding level with precision – this one is regulated with the knob as usual.

Loved this neat and effective well made product. Purchased for a camper van and they are far far superior to the different brand used at home. Expensive so worth waiting for the sale.

Bought as a christmas present and they loved them.Made in France by a company passionate about its products reputation for quality and craftsmanship, rare in a world racing towards the bottom as far as both are concerned.
