Quality finish and works well
When upgrading our showers to accept high pressure hot water from a new unvented cylinder, I picked out Bristan components and wanted the shower hoses to match. The hose was a good length and has a good quality finish that matches the mixer tap and riser. Flow rate is great, a big improvement over our old power shower setup!!!

Great cost-effective solution to a disappointingly low pressure gravity fed shower
I've been dissatisfied with the shower in my bathroom since we moved into the house in February. The hot water pressure in the house isn't great as we have a gravity-fed hot water tank system - we certainly miss the combi boiler arrangement from our previous house. As a result, the output pressure from the basic bath/shower mixer wasn't as high as we were used to. We got a plumber in to change the taps in case these were the bottleneck, but unfortunately the previous bathroom fitter had bodged the tap holes so badly that our only option was to stick with the original mixer or replace the whole bath, not something that we had the budget to do.I've tried two or three replacement shower heads and these didn't really help either, although the latest one I tried, also a Bristan model, was the best of a bad bunch. As a last-ditch attempt, I decided to change the shower hose for this large bore version, my logic being that if more water is allowed to pass, the pressure should be higher. I was a little sceptical that it would make a difference as I wasn't convinced that my system was able to supply the pressure needed, but it's made the world of difference - I'm really impressed. Paired with my latest Bristan head, the pressure is more than adequate. I'm so glad I decided to give this new hose a try, as for mere pounds I've solved a problem that I didn't think I would get to the bottom of without replacing the hot water and central heating system. So if you're struggling with disappointing pressure from any shower, especially a gravity-fed one, this is well worth a try.The hose comes in a plastic blister pack, complete with two black rubber washers (one for each end). The hose looks slightly different from the one pictured, as both ends are identical - the one pictured has a longer piece at one end with a concave section, which is not present on the one I received. This makes no difference to the functionality of the product as far as I can tell, and I actually prefer it as it visually matches the hose I was replacing. It's a doddle to fit as you simply unscrew the old hose at both ends and screw in the new one.

Good quality
Good quality, albeit not the same quality as the Hansgrohe one I've used previously. Metal feels a little thin and light in comparison so longevity unknown, but its basically OK.

Almost ideal...
I gave 5 stars but may be a little generous as there were some issues but maybe I can't blame Bristan for these.Looked at many 1.5M hoses and so many were untruthful suggesting big bore for gravity fed (You need this) with negative reviews saying they were not big bore.Cheap ones at about £5 were narrow and poor quality, some at £10 looked ok but with many negative reviews so went for known brand Bristan with large bore even though was nearing £20 as you get what you pay for, but...Testing the old hose with old shower head took 35 seconds to fill to overflowing a 3litre jug.New Bristan hose with identical but new shower head took 42 seconds - so not an improvement but perhaps not entirely Bristans problem as old hose was 1.2Metres so 1.5 metre hose might account for this.Other issue again maybe not Bristans fault was on fitting the hose to the wall fitting it leaked badly so added to the one rubber washer supplied with a second washer from the old hose to improve fit. Problem resolved. So in summary the Bristan hose is a good part so deserves 5 stars but it did not offer the improvement in performance I was hoping for so I am slightly disappointed. Would I buy again though? Yes. As many of the others out there are just not being truthful in description.

Does not fit Mira Shower Bracket.
Good quality hose which has an 11mm internal diameter so good for water flow in gravity (low pressure) fed showers but the conical ends are too small to locate into a Mira fitting, I've since found out there are two sizes of end cones and Mira fittings use the larger one, the genuine Mira hose I have since purchased has the larger cone on one end and a smaller cone on the other so will fit both types and also has an 11mm internal diameter but this hose is plastic and although it looks great and is easier to clean it's not as flexible as the stainless steel hoses.

Quality shower hose
It's just a shower hose, but there's a difference in the feel. It weighs more, feels sturdier than cheap plastic ones. It is worth the money, especially as it's not really too expensive. Of course I could buy one for 3rd of the price and replace it now and again, and there are some benefits to this approach. But I'll stick with this one as it's very good

Quality shower hose
This is a cone to cone hose that has an 11mm bore. It was bought to fit a bath mixer tap with a cradle shower attachement. I previously made the mistake of buying an 8mm bore hose as so many are like this now, but it was a mistake. The flow of water was pathetic, so I ditched it after a week and bought the Bristan. The flow is great and my wife is now happy - so all is well.

Diametre interne
Plus de diametre interne = plus de débit (si le reste de l installation n'a pas de goulet de diametre inférieur).Plus de débit sur une poire de douche donnée = plus de pression.Bref, a revolutionné ma douche, top.
