Mirrors look ok installed but the light isn’t as bright as expected. Also difficult to turn lights on and off at times.

I saw a mirror like this only bigger at a high end hotel while on a trip a few months ago and thought that it was really neat looking as well as very functional. While looking for a new ceiling fixture for our guest bathroom I came across this mirror on Amazon. After a lot of research this is the one I settled on and glad I did. It looks good and is well built. I already had a fixture above the existing mirror so the wiring was not a problem for me. If you are not qualified to do residential wiring then you will need to have an electrician install it for you. The light is plenty bright enough to use as a makeup mirror but not so bright to be annoying. It would probably be bright enough for a small power room but for my bathroom (10 x 12) I also needed a ceiling fixture.The thing I would caution others about when shopping for this type of Mirror/Light is how it is constructed. The LED's in this one are fully enclosed in the housing behind the mirror where some others simply have the LED's stuck around the perimeter of the back of the mirror. Not cool, especially if you can see behind the mirror from some angle in the room. The touch switch worked well but I bypassed it because I wanted the light to come on with the ceiling light switch. Everyone that has used this bathroom has commented on how much they liked it.It would have been easier for me to install it if there would have been a way for me to "bypass" the built in switch so I would not have had to take the housing apart to make the mod. BTW.... In it's stock form the switch area on the mirror has a gentle glow all of the time to act as kind of a night light and a way to locate it in the dark. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

Providing all the work is done correctly, this lighted mirror would enhance the appearance of any bathroom (or room for that matter). Be forewarned, there is ZERO margin for error when mounting the four self provided screws used to hold this beautiful beast up on the wall. The templates (4 strips of paper of two lengths to account for horizontal and vertical orientation) were NOT marked to exact measurements. They were off by 1/4" (6 mm) which might as well be a country mile for this installation. Made my own template using a roll of wrapping paper.If you are not hitting studs on both ends of a dry wall (which will never happen in an American home because this was probably not made in America so 16" studs were not part of the equation), be sure to use dry wall anchors that can support at least 50 lbs per anchor. If not, you will come home one day and find your gorgeous mirror laying face down (in about 27,000 pieces) on your bathroom floor after it takes out everything in its path.My mirror did have a few imperfections in the glass which light up like dead (white) pixels on a black TV screen when the LED light is on. However, it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Really complicated our bathroom remodel.

We love our new mirror. Everyone that comes over compliments on how cool it is. We really like the dimmer feature. The only thing we didn’t realize when we ordered it is that it is a bright white light not a soft white light. Also the light in this mirror is not bright enough to serve as the only light in our bathroom. We ended up purchasing reveal LED HD+ light bulbs to go in the fixtures above the mirror and they seem to complement each other well. We have the switches hooked up so we can just use the mirror light or the lights above with the mirror.

Good mirror overall. Not as visibly bright as the lumens indicate (you definitely still need additional lighting) and there are darker spots in the corners of the LED. But overall works well for what we wanted.Wired to a switch as the mirror remembers its previous power state & brightness level when it loses power. Also gives us the option of leaving the switch on and toggling mirror light by pressing the button on the mirror’s face.

This is a great looking mirror of excellent quality. The defog function actually heats the mirror, which surprised me. I would love to be able to turn that feature off and on but I haven’t figured out how to do that and keep it the light on. Also the dimmer works as I’d hoped. I think this LED mirror adds to my bathroom’s luxurious appearance and has gotten numerous compliments on its looks and functionality.

These mirrors are a perfect update for an old bathroom . They replaced 3 smaller oval mirrors and really brighten up the room when both on. My wife loves the light they emit as she preps her hair and makeup for the day. Some wiring is required so if not comfortable, hire an electrician. Also, I recommend mounting them to wall studs for added support - they are heavy. Make sure you measure twice, drill support screws once. Love them!
