Wonderful quality, comfort, and support.
I was looking forward to wearing these to work tomorrow. I ordered a 6 instead of a 6.5, which is my true size I'm learning (I believe my feet are a tad bigger than they were at age 20 vs 40). I was afraid 6.5 would look too bulky. But they are sleek and even though I know they're a half size smaller than I need, I can tell that they are snug around the sides of my feet so I am considering a wide 6.5 since I'll be standing and walking a lot as a server and bartender. Then on the other hand, I'm wondering if after breaking them in they'll be too wide. *decisions decisions!Bottom line is, they have a cushiony feel under my feet. I've worn them around the house a few minutes but I am going to go ahead and order another pair before sending these back. Like all other sketchers I've owned, I'm sure I'll love them and get a great amount of use out of them before they have to be replaced. I think the price was very fair for the quality also

The best shoes for restaurant work
When I first wore these shoes I thought I was going to have to return them because they felt tight, but I adjusted the laces and have worn them for several weeks now and I think they're great. They've held up well so far and they are comfortable and definitely non-skid. They were a great price. I'm wondering if I should buy another pair for whenever this pair does wear out. I have spilled liquids on them a couple of times but they still look brand new. Stains don't show on them and they breathe well. I especially like that you don't have to tie them but you can still adjust the tension so I made them looser at the toe. I wear a 7.5 and they fit me well so they're true to size

Amazing shoes for work
I got these shoes for my daughter who started her first job. She is very picky and she absolutely loves them! So much so we bought them again when she lost them out of her bag! Good grip, comfortable and true to size

Nice and comfortable at first
I ordered these on sale. I have flat/wide feet so I ordered wide size 8. I love the fact that they slip on and do so pretty well. I hate having laces that can get dirty and come untied. They are lightweight which is a huge plus. They’re pretty comfy in the first few months anyway, I’ve had them a short time. They don’t squeeze my feet together since they’re wide. They look nice unlike most slip resistant shoes. They are material in front which let your feet breathe but can get wet, though on the sides and front there is some kind of plastic or rubber to avoid bumping which happens a ton in kitchens anyway. Overall pretty good shoe.

Love my new work shoes
Very comfortable even on the first day worn, nice look, not non slip as advertised but I work with grease and I like them so much, I still give them 5 stars.

Non-slip, water-resistant. Has some flaws...
I am a barista and I work 35-40 hours a week. I got these shoes last May and wore them for almost every shift since then. Here's a review after 10 months of wearing these on concrete floors.Pros: these are non-slip. I am a clumsy person and I can tell you with confidence that I never slipped once while wearing these shoes, no matter how much water, milk or soap was on the floor. These shoes look nice, the all-over black look is very professional. If they get dirty, I just wiped them down with a cleaning wipe and they looked fine again. These shoes are water resistant, maybe even water proof. I have spilled so much hot coffee on them and my toes have remained dry and unburned. These shoes have no laces than need to be tied, so they cannot become untied and you won't trip on the laces.Cons: there is almost no support in these shoes. The sole is hard as a rock and your feet will hurt after working a full shift.Like all clothes, these loosen up over time. They are slip on shoes, so they're not really meant to be tight anyway, but there is noticeable gaping around my ankle now, my foot moves a lot in my shoe. The combination of a hard, flat sole and a loose fit is now causing me problems. My foot pain after work is now lasting several days, if I happen to have time off. I tried using an insole to add some cushion, but with such a loose shoe, the added bulk just made my foot slide off the insert, leading to a new kind of soreness after my shift.I've developed cuboid syndrome and require manual manipulation and wrapping to manage my pain. This may have been avoided if I replaced my shoes earlier, but I've always had a hard time with that. If there are no actual holes, I will keep wearing a pair of shoes.Would I buy these shoes again? Probably not these exact ones, but another pair from Sketchers, a pair with laces I can tighten as the shoe gets more worn. My advice is to skip these exact shoes, but stick with this brand. They are perfectly non-slip and water-resistant in my experience, but they require more padding, some arch support and definitely the ability to tighten them down the more you wear them.

Lasting comfort.
I work and 'run' hard as a server full time. It's difficult finding non slip shoes that will take the abuse AND last. One pair of these have lasted me over a year now. I REALLY love that I don't have to tie my shoes, too. Pretty comfortable like a nice pair of tennis shoes (I do still use inserts as well). How well does the non-slip feature work?...just as well as the high dollar 'Shoes For Crews' do. Shoes For Crews quality went way down hill....so I'm glad I found these Sketchers!
