This book was just what I needed as I went through my renewal process. It breaks down all the competencies in a clear and easy to understand way. You can apply what you learn right away in your coaching sessions. I highly recommend this to any coach who is looking to become a better coach.

Instead of looking at the ACC, PCC, and MCC as levels of coaching with the ultimate goal of achieving MCC - the author paints a picture that each "level" is simply using different coaching techniques! This means you can change between MCC and ACC during a session, depending on what style of coaching or approach you are taking with the client. I love this as it shows the dynamic nature of coaching and how nothing is one-size-fits-all. Very well done!!

A book this good should be printed on better paper. I'm someone who provides mentor coaching to other coaches seeking certifications from the International Coaching Federation, and I'm found this a helpful reference for helping coaches see the differences between coaching certification levels. My only disappointment with the book is the low quality of the paper used for the book. It's maybe not as good as the paper I run through my home printer.

This book had many valuable insights. Jennifer discussed and clarified the differences between ACC, PCC, and MCC, giving examples of what the different styles look and sound like. This was both informative and helpful. Examining the ICF coaching credential and the coaching styles that resonated with me was like finding a favorite, cozy housecoat. You will learn a lot by reading the book and discovering things about yourself. What I particularly liked was that even after putting the book down, I recalled and connected ideas. The way the book was written kept my mind engaged, which I truly appreciated. It was an educational book that significantly enhanced my learning experience.

Simple, straight-forward guide to master ICF coaching competencies. Has been my go-to resource for achieving my MCC credential. Thank you!
