We put these on a chicken coop run to warn off predators. We live in the country and the coop is right next to the woods. I have another brand too and really didn’t expect much from these, but needed to do what I could for the chickens. Boy was I wrong, these are great! Worth every penny! Even if we try to sneak around them so they don’t go off, if we happen to need to go to the coop in the evening, they catch us every time and the siren is LOUD! That is what we want though, so they are working very well! We are putting a small grow-out coop for the new chicks and will be buying more of just these as they were the only ones worth the money.

This alarm works fine and is loud and bright, but it doesn't have a strobe light, only an LED. Also, make sure you fully charge it with the enclosed plug-in adapter before using it so that it has a full charge. Don't just stick it up and think it will get a full charge from the sun.

Within 3 months, they are not going off when something moves in front of them...then they go off for no reason! Volume never weas really that loud. Low cost and not worth it.

Works exactly as designed! It has been in my yard for 3 months. It recharges on its own . It works Everytime I check on it. If it last a year ... WINNER!. I haven't had to charge it with USB yet.

So far this is keeping my cat out of my shower stall. Sometimes she uses my shower as a toilet and I was at my wits end.
