Small but Cute
I ordered the Gatco Counter Top S Style Towel Holder in Satin Nickel. It was available as "Used" for $12.01 and arrived in 2 days with free Prime shipping. To start, it's too small for regular sized hand towels. This seems to be a reoccurring theme among all of the major brands. Despite an extensive search, I'm STILL looking for a countertop holder that will accommodate standard sized hand towels. Anyways, this is designed for tea towels or fingertip towels. Because of this, I'm using dishtowels on it. As you can see in my attached pictures, the DII Microfiber Dishtowels I bought off Amazon fit perfectly on here (locate via the ASIN: B00T5M9OHY).I find this Towel Holder to be very charming in appearance. The satin nickel finish is classy looking and it seems like a reasonable quality product for what it is. I replaced most of my bathroom fixtures with items by Gatco and I've come to appreciate the brand. Gatco offers good quality products for a great price (for the most part).Overall, I think this Towel Holder works well. I'm giving it 5-Stars because it was worth what I paid for it and it arrived to me in great con drink. However...... I do NOT find this item to be worth the $25-30 that it normally goes for. In the event that I had purchased it for the full cost, I imagine that I would have been disappointed and would probably give it a 2 or 3 Star rating.

Seems fine, but color is not as described
Seems to be a quality item and generally fine. I actually was able to hang standard hand towels on the taller of the two "arms" by folding them in thirds vertically (see photo). My biggest disappointment, which I now see someone else also noticed in earlier comments, is the color. Though the Amazon listing described this item as oil-rubbed or antique bronze, the box clearly states only "bronze." That means this item doesn't match any of my other oil rubbed bronze bathroom fixtures (see photo- these countertop towel racks are shinier and lighter than my adjacent floor towel rack). The central pole, the worst/most chrome-like piece, is mostly covered by the towel hanging from the rack, so it will do for now, though I may end up painting it like a previous reviewer. If your finish doesn't need to match perfectly, this seems like a great item. I was just disappointed that for a few dozen bucks a piece that the color/finish described is definitely not accurate. However, I'm less concerned about matching the chrome finish, so I will be buying one of those for another bathroom.

Wonderful wash cloth holder for your vanity / counter top
One of my favorite things from the recent remodel of 3 bathrooms. If you are looking for something to hold normal wash cloths on your counter it is perfect ... you know, regular wash cloths ... not the longer hand towels and not limited to little "finger" towels as some users write about. I read so many reviews where people were saying this is too short ... it is NOT. It is just right if you think about what you are getting. I love the fact it is not rings but horizontal bars. The wash cloths hand so much nicer.I use this with one colored wash cloth in the front -- the decorative color for my bathroom -- and the other is a simple white one to hang on the taller back one. That is the one that is used every single time water hits our sink / faucet. We always dry them ... and this is the perfect holder for that one. So glad I ordered these and didn't put something on my wall. Simple, functional, looks very nice (brushed nickel) and just right for our needs.

Product is very nice...but do you really want it?
I spent a little more for this towel stand (compared to others out there) and I am happy I did. This is a sturdy, well-made product. As it turns out, I would much prefer a wall mounted holder. I have plenty of counter space;that's not the issue. As sturdy/heavy as this is, it still falls over with an accidental bump. With a wall mounted ring you can dry your hands without removing the towel. With the countertop stand you need to remove, dry, replace and rehanging the towel has to be done carefully or you have to hold the stand in place while replacing the towel. If you have kids, you can imagine that it'll never be rehung. Finally, the height is just such that if the towel is hung properly it'll not touch the counter, but each side must be even. Again, I don't think these is anything wrong with the product (well maybe it's too short or the height could be standard)' but its not the best solution for me.

Works For Us
We purchased this item about a year ago to use as a hand towl holder in the bathroom. We have a smaller bathroom with no real space for a traditional hand towel ring near the sink. Having a stand on the vanity has worked out well for us.We only use the taller side of this towel holder. Even so, our hand towels are still a little longer and drape onto the counter a little. This doesn't really bother me that much, although it would be great if it were just an inch taller. I am not really sure what type of towels would hang on here any better - although the lower rack would probably work for storing a washrag next to the sink. I seem to remember that older style hand towels may be a little shorter and might fit better. All in all, this holder was the best solution we found for having a hand towel on our bathroom vanity, and I would purchase it again.

A little Tippy
This towel holder is higher quality than many others I have seen at local stores. The quality of the finish is good and it's put together well. The only problem, it's kind of "tippy" when you get a towel hung on it. In this case being "light weight" is not good. It fell of the counter several times. I replaced it for my wife with a towel ring on the wall and we have moved this to a guest bath were it is decorative and functional but won't get everyday use.

This is short so requires special folding of hand towels, also not heavy
This looks lovely but as mentioned is not heavy duty and is short so that the hand towels I have need tobe specially folded so that they don't drag on the counter.

Classy Looking
This would hold finger towels but not actual full hand towels. I am using it to hang face cloths and it looks fabulous and lets them dry in between uses. It looks awesome and I would definitely buy it again. Hopefully it will not rust out too quickly as some other less expensive ones have in the past.

Worth the price
I bought this as a hand towel/face towel holder for my owner's suite bathroom. I was worried about it being too wobbly or small but it is perfect. It holds an average hand towel on one side and a face cloth on the other and is very sturdy.

Too short
Nice quality but too short for the hand towels that I have. Does anyone sell fingertip towels anymore? I haven't seen them anywhere.

Too small
Too small for normal face towel. Pricey for what you get
