For something cheap, they really knocked me off with their quality, and the nice lil details like the extra lenses, both clear, black and auto is awesome

You can't beat the price for this helmet kit. You can spend a LOT more for a GREAT helmet (and I have, in the past) but if you just don't weld every day, this is MORE than adequate.I was not expecting much, and while it is not fancy, it has all the fiddlybits you need to actually get to welding! If you are new to welding or just an oldtimer with occasional welding chores, this helmet is perfect.Adjustability: It fits my fat head as well as my daughter's small head (everyone should learn how to weld!)Durability: It's not a high end helmet; so don't expect it to last forever (literally just used it twice so far). It seems fine for light duty work.Functionality: The auto-dimming works great, the flip-up screen works good, the headband is basic but works fine as well.All in all, this is a solid 4-star unit; mainly because it is so affordable for what you get. If it falls apart in the coming months I will update this review but in the early days so far: it's great.

I actually got these as a gift and I ended up being pleasantly surprised. At first I thought that is this was going to be a a lot cheaper and lower quality than the helmet I got with the auto darkening on it and it ended up actually being pretty darn good helmet with way more accessories and mine even came with. The actual housing of the helmet seems to be made a very good material and pretty thick plastic and as long as you don't go bashing it on the floor stomping on it it will probably hold up to many sparks. The coolest part about this one is it actually has regular lenses and auto darkening lenses. It also comes with tons of shields to keep your elements clean and Free of pitting and stuff. This one also came with a plethora of sweatbands that you can replace in the back as they get worn out and sweaty, a carrying bag, and a light that you can clip on the top which I thought was very cool. I think it will definitely come in handy for doing lots of grinding and stuff. Also this one came with a ton of welding stickers so you can definitely put those on your locker toolbox or helmet even if you what. Overall I think for the asking price of this kit I think it's well worth it and it's a very good entry level helmet that comes with tons of accessories to keep you going for a long time and as long as you don't stop on it or you know purposely break it it's going to last you for a long time as well worth it if you're just getting into welding and not 100% sure if you want one with the auto sensitive feature or a higher-end decorative one or if you just need one to get a quick couple projects done
