Original Flavor- Delicious but Salty
I gave this five stars for noodle quality, ease of preparation and flavor but if I'm completely honest, the flavor packet is just a bit too salty for me ( like most soy sauces) so I use it sparingly. Maybe if I added the noodles to a green salad it wouldn't be so overwhelming. I also topped mine with McCormick Asian Rice Bowl Topping which is very delicious. I can eat these noodles plain with that topping.

Ramen fit for a meal.
This is not the 39-cent ramen packets from my college days -- so I love it! I first tried it when I was a member of Public Goods, but when I didn't renew my membership I was sad about not being able to get their ramen. I'm so glad it's available on Amazon. This is quick to cook like the other stuff, but the liquid sauce is so much tastier than the dried pouches. I convince myself that the whole thing is healthier because the noodles aren't fried, but actually, I don't eat it because of some perceived health benefit--I eat it because it tastes good! If I had any criticism it would be that the sauce is so delish I wish the packet were about 50% larger. But it is in no way detracting from my 5-star review. I buy it by the 10-pack and start getting nervous when we only have 2-3 left!

Brothless Ramen
Loved the noodles - good texture and picks up taste of seasoning well. But didn't realize one packet was Spicy Sesame and it was way too spicy for us.

Noodles
I love these noodles, they taste very good, they are expensive though. Mix with your favorite meat and vegetables. Enjoy!

Do not buy
I’ll try not to get graphic in my review but I will warn you not to buy unless you are prepared for an extended period of upset stomach and diarrhea. I bought these when I was going through a ramen phase. I also bought a brand of dehydrated vegetables that you can add to your ramen. The first time I tried these noodles they tasted fine. But the next day I had severe stomach issues and proceeded to have liquid bowel movements for an entire day. I assumed that it was the dehydrated vegetables. But some time later I added the veggies to another brand of ramen noodles and didn’t have any issues. Cut to today, my husband has been having violent diarrhea. The only thing he ate yesterday were these noodles. That’s when I realized that it was these noodles that were causing the diarrhea. I immediately threw away the remaining packs of noodles. I don’t know what is in these that doesn’t agree with our digestive tracks but needless to say, I will never be buying these again. Try at your own risk.

Decent Chinese ribbon-style noodles, but poorly packaged so easily damaged in transit
A decent standard type of plain ribbon noodle available from Chinese and Southeast-Asian producers (I get similar noodles in other brands and packaging at Chinese-themed supermarkets in my region, which has had 150 years of modern immigration from those places); this version is packaged in individual wrapped portions with the noodles in cakes. Apparently marketed toward people who know the similar-sized "ramen" packets, though these come with sauce packets for tossing, rather than a broth base (there are other such brands); and the ribbon-shaped noodles, which aren't anything new at all, also aren't what firms in Japan typically mean by "ramen."This Public Goods brand does claim accurately that the noodle cakes aren't deep-fried in oil, though that too isn't new or unique (frying noodle cakes for quick cooking is a peculiarity of the "instant ramen" packets also familiar in Pacific-Asian cultures, and popular in the US since the 1960s). This product does, though, share that genre's high salt content per portion. My only serious complaint is that the individual noodle-cake packages aren't built for any handling. One of the two five-packs in this set arrived looking fine, but with the noodles in two of the five portions crushed to crumbs. Not externally apparent, but obvious once you handled them and felt the absence of a solid noodle cake inside. Probably the five-pack was dropped at some point. Other brands of similar noodles surround the individual noodle cakes with stiff inserts -- which keeps them intact even when similarly shipped -- but this brand just wraps each cake in plastic film, so they're more vulnerable. I'll stick to using other brands that solved this problem.
