2 Piece Acrylic 9 mm Mouthpiece

Use a 3/8” Forster drill bit and open the meerschaum corn cob pip stem hole. This acrylic bit will fit perfectly. You may need to lightly sand the bit. You can use 9mm filters or like I did took and extra 9mm to 3mm plug and insert in bit and not use a filter. Works wonderfully and no more cheap soft plastic bit that comes with Meerschaum pipes….which I greatly dislike.

This item is cheap plastic, the tenon is glued in and extremely thin and flexible you can see it looses shape with just a little bit of pressure, this would be lucky to survive being fitted to a pipe and I won't be putting it on any of mine. I can also flex the mouthpiece in my hand so it's definitely not acrylic.

This is my first time making a pipe. Trial and error look to be the play of the day. I was able to get it to fit nice and snug with a 3/8 forstner bit but not my 3/8 drill bit. I'd try different bits to see what works for you.Quality is great and would recommend these to anyone wanting to get started.

But for the shortness of these stems, they’re a really Good Value inasmuch as I tend to ‘chew’ through my pipe stems.
