UK Pet Beds Replacement Dog Bed Cover - Heavy Duty Waterproof - Easy Clean - Size Large - Colour Black

So I have been buying dog beds every 6 months for the past 7 years, not exactly the best beds either but this is because my dog also jumps onto our sofa behind our backs the sneaky bugger (she also jumps off when she hears us coming!). I generally replace the beds because they get grubby, are hard to wash or down to wear and tear...I had this genius idea (but apparently I am not the only one thinking on this wavelength) to purchase a durable cover and fill it with a double duvet folded to size. So I bought two of these covers in jumbo size (they are massive!!) I actually just filled half of it and folded it over on itself.I did however cover this UK pet bed cover with another one I bought on Amazon (MollyMutt) which was a better size and had lovely printed fabrics, although they look smart on their own I decided for me, it would be better as a waterproof inner layer to protect the filling and hold it in place. The dog loves it. She will stay in her own bed for starters but the cover itself has lasted!I used the second cover I bought to cover an Earthbound dog mattress - the original cover on that bed looks brand new! I can't speak for water resistance but I can say that it cleans up well. I have just bought 3 more covers in a more suitable size medium (I've decided the jumbos can be put away for emergencies unless the seller wants them back?!). This has a zip to close everything together - I've seen some with Velcro which makes me feel the item is inferior. Feels great quality, looks as pictured. I couldn't recommend this enough.Anyway my point is this is well worth the money. I would 100% purchase again if the medium ones I've ordered break or if the jumbos I plan to put away for now break too!

So delighted with this that I immediately bought a second one.Very hard wearing bed which I stuffed with an old bed that my springer cross shredded, one of many! I left her alone with the new bed and I can see where she had a go at it but failed. The pocket for the zip is genius! I can see this lasting for years. Worth every one of the 5 stars I rated this with!

I bought this for my Springer Spaniel dogs bed as a protective cover. Because he starting to tear his bed apart. The new bed cover was fantastic, fitted perfectly. Water resistant. Good value for money.There is a zip on one end of the cover - my dog managed to tear the zip of the cover off. But the cover still does its job.

Needed a new cover for a foam bed which had been purchased several years ago and couldn't find one to fit until I came across this one. The cover is fantastic quality for the price and although it has not been fully tested, I have no doubt it is completely waterproof. As the existing cover was very soft, my dogs were somewhat confused when they first got onto the bed but have now got used to it. It will be perfect for allowing me to put the bed outside in the warmer months when a sturdy cover is necessary. It has certainly made the bed look much smarter than it did with the old cover and I think it will last for a very long time.

Really good tough material. I stuffed it with memory foam bits. My dogs always make an absolute mess of anything I give them but they have not managed to rip this in any way. the zip hasn't come undone and let the bedding out either. The fabric is not that nice to the touch so I use a blanket over it ...its a bit slippy and synthetic.... But it wipes easy and it actually doesn't smell horrific .... I will defo buy more for them to lounge on ...it was well worth it for such a durable item and I can always add comfort with a blanket or throw over it.

I have a cane corso puppy and he was a dream to crate train. This was probably helped by the fact that we laid an XXL pet cushion in the bottom of his XXL crate (this dog will get to be about 70cm tall at the shoulders when fully grown and will weigh about 65kg) but even at 6 months old, he’s 32kg and about 40cm tall.However, the cover for his cushion didn’t last very long once he found out how to get to the zip fastener - which did not come with a pocket to keep the zip pull hidden from inquisitive and destructive pooches. The seller that supplied the cushion and cover didn’t sell replacement covers so I bought a new cushion only for the cover to last an even shorter amount of time (2 days!) and on that occasion, we left him for too long with an open cover and he annihilated the insides as well.So, I had a spare cushion and decided to buy one of these covers instead. It was perfect - waterproof so he could slobber all over it; and other dirt/dust didn’t stay on it for long and could be vacuumed off or the whole thing could go in the wash if there was anything I couldn’t get to. However, after one particular day when I couldn’t wash it, dry it and get it back on quick enough for the dog to sleep with the cushion, I decided to buy another cover so that I could always have one on the cushion whilst the other was being washed.The new one arrived on 14th April 2022 and I put it on the cushion on 16th April. Today, I woke up to the zip having been opened and the dog attacking the inner cushion. I took the cover off to wash it considering it was soaked with his drool and was just hoping that he had just got hold of the zip fastener and opened it as I could see the zip pull was outside of the little pocket, but alas, he has somehow managed to break the zip open and the zip pull no longer works.So, whilst for a while at least, the little pocket to hide the zip pull looked like it was going to outsmart my dog, he bested it and I’m back to one cover again.Knowing the zip isn’t the strongest, I won’t bother to replace the cover with another new one of this type but may see if I can get someone to replace the broken zip with something a little bit more dog proof.Overall, it’s a great cushion but for dogs that like to chew things, I suspect the cover and any inner cushions won’t last long.

I’m a dog Walker and go through a lot of beds but this is the best I’ve had 👌🏼
