exactly as described
Its good quality, natural wood colour which I needed for a lampshade project. I stained it to a dark brown with acrylic paint and it looks great. I was also able to heat and bend it to a circle with a normal iron, then glued it in place.

Good quality and easy to use.
Good quality and super easy to apply. Worked a treat for me on some oak doors that were in need of some tlc.

Better to use a hair dryer to melt the glue
Great product, easy to cut to size and using a hair dryer prevented any damage from leaving a hot iron in one spot for too long. Real wood around 0.5mm thick, ideal for edging doors or shelves.

Good for patching - needs some care in installing
You certainly get a lot of veneer for your cash, so I'm unlikely to ever use it all! This was bought to patch up an oak veneer door that needed to be hung in the opposite direction. The pictures show one of the original hinges with *two* layers of patch applied and also where a round hole for the handle was chiseled out to a rectangle and a patch applied. To be honest, I didn't take enough care with cutting the hinge patch and that shows in the picture.I used scissors but you would probably get a far better result with a stanley knife. The smaller patch fits better but has a couple of scorch marks from the iron that I used.I then turned the iron down for the hinge patches but they took forever to get enough heat in to melt the glue.If I was to do it again I would probably use a hot air gun, or even try a hairdryer, rather than use the iron. The patches do their job, and blend well with the surrounding wood. But getting the right temperature to melt the glue without marking them is tricky.

Glued on well and easy to trim
I got a really good finish with this product. It was applied to oak veneered MDF and was almost a perfect match. After glueing I trimmed off the excess with a Stanley knife (new blade) and gave it a light rub with fine glass paper.

Recycled door now a headboard
I used the edging strip on the ends of a wooden door to hide the internal construction.Waxed and polished, now the door is a headboard, perfect.
