On the directions it suggests that the spikes are planted in Oct. and Mar.. Did anyone use the spikes other than these 2 months and see good results?

when and how many times a year?

I am in Northern California. What time(s) of year should I be fertilizing my palm trees?

I have a cluster of 3 palm trees, 2 of them are about 8" in diameter and the 3rd is about 10". Does this mean I have to plant 26 spikes around them?
