christmas favorite
got these for my kids 4 and 7. they love that they can write their own music based on colors. one of the notes is a little flat but still recognizable. i do wish the book had a few more common songs.

Kids love these
My 2 and 5 year olds love these, play them daily. They don't have a gentle hand when they're excited, but these have held up this far

Flat sitting bells great for classroom
This company is very solid in making musical instruments for young children, including for a classroom. I have another set of bells (hand bells), and they are excellent, too. It never occurred to me to get desk bells, and these are much easier for a young musician to learn. With these kids are only pressing down, and not picking them up which is an extra step. The song book that come with the kit has colors that match with the bells on the desk, which makes it a lot easier to learn how to play the musical instrument. I've had a lot of success with four year olds playing with this, to make nice sounding music. There is a nice pitch or tone for each bell, and each on its own sounds nice. They lay flat on the desk and they withstand knocks and drops to the floor.Handbells have a spring that the kids tend to pull and once stretched out the sound is no longer proper. Since these sit on the desk, flat the kids don't tend to be as interested in the mechanism inside and underneath. The paint is thick and glossy and more heavy-duty withstanding bangs and falls.

Incorrect music
I got these to introduce music to my preschooler. The colors listed in the music are terrible. The red and orange and VERY close to the same color and in some of the pages they use the same color for the C and the D which can be very confusing for younger kids. The yellow is also close to those colors as well. They definitely should have made them differ and had them be accurate. Some of the pages on the music sheet have pictures in the background which can make it harder for some people to read the music. I wish it was a solid color. My kids do love to just play the bells and it keeps them occupied for a long time, so for that reason I’m leaving this review with 4 stars. I’m hoping I can find some music and print it off.

A Wonderful Hand Bells Starter Set for Littles & Namma Too!
The media could not be loaded. This is a wonderful hand bells starter set! It is packaged very nicely and the sturdy cardboard box also doubles as storage. The bells themselves are colorful and sound beautiful. They come with a songbook and colored dot stickers to make it easier to follow along with the songs. They're also a perfect size for little hands, but still big enough for adults to play too. I got the bells for my 2 year old twin grand babies, as I watch them (and their baby sister) 4+ days a week. They love music, and I'm always looking for things they can do and learn that don't involve screens. The kiddos happened to be here when the bells arrived, so I opened them right away, and their eyes just lit up when they saw the colorful bells. They were super excited to start playing with them. They each grabbed a bell and started shaking them, until I showed them how to tap the tops instead. They aren't at the point where they will be playing recognizable songs anytime soon, but they did catch onto the concept right away. They each picked their favorite colors and had so much fun making their own music. The bells seem pretty sturdy. A couple of them have already been dropped onto a hard surface with no damage so far. For the price, I'm really impressed with how beautiful they sound. I've included a video of me pecking away at them. They actually sound even better in person, and I love how easy it is to follow along with the simple songs. The songbook itself is not the greatest, as it contains a lot of typos, but it does include several favorite children's songs, and it's enough to start with until I can purchase some better ones. Overall, if you're looking for a nice set of hand bells at a very reasonable price, these really seem to fit the bill.

It comes with a song book!
I got these for my 1.5 year old daughter and honestly I probably enjoy it more than she does right now. She likes ringing the bells and I also like playing out the songs from the book for her. It's easy to set up and put away and everything is labeled well. Great gift!

Fun way for young kids to really play music
The main person using these is a 3.5 year old girl. It took her a little bit to get the concept, but once she understood the colors in the book were the same as the bells, she quickly began tapping out little songs. She was hooked immediately and the look of accomplishment on her face as she recognized a song she herself was playing was priceless. The bells themselves are a pretty good quality. I’ve had other similar bells in the past and these are comparable. I’ve had some that had a little better sound, maybe a little louder, but these are actually better for use by a young child who likes playing Jingle Bells over and over—or at least better for everyone else in earshot! Happy with this choice!

Not great
Not the best, not the worst. Plastic material. Easy to use, no need to assemble anything. Color coded as other brands, so it is good compatibility for colored scores and other pedagogy materials. It seems durable. Good value for money. Sound quality moderate.
