I liked that I got it fast in the mail. It is a replacement unit that has to be set up and then adjusted to specs. You have to know what the specs. Are on the old one so that you can set this one up. I put it in my stock.

I ordered this to replace the switch in my older Frigidaire furnace I have in my garage. The original parts are no longer available. This has a very wide range of pressure settings so will work for a lot of different applications.

After 2 failed attempts by a certified heating specialist to repair my Coleman Echelon High Efficiency Furnace, I decided to attempt to repair it myself! So I ordered this switch and the 'Manometer, RISEPRO® Digital Air Pressure Meter and Differential Pressure Gauge HVAC Gas Pressure Tester' . Once I determined what pressure I needed to set the switch at, I selected the pressure spring & tweeked the adjustment by tightening the allen screw in small increments until the switch responded as it should. It's been working without any issues for over 30 days now! It is now mid December and the outside temp is 23 degrees. I will update this review at the end of the heating season!

This unit came defective, and a friend ordered the same model and it arrived this evening fitting as described in the instructions.Seller will ship to manufacturer to verify issue and will not cross ship.If they work, people seem to like them.******Edit: I finally got around to trying to get this to work correctly and found that a couple of the orifice tubes were indeed too long and did not have openings at the end. Once I cut off the excess, they worked great. I'm going to 4 out of 5 because it was annoying, but really easy to fix.

This W.C. "air pressure" switch is VERY versatile. It comes with an assortment of springs so that, with the integral micro adjustment, may be used over an uncommonly wide range of pressure requirements: to wit .010" W.C. to 10.0" W.C. It is also designed to trigger on negative OR positive pressure settings. It has internal contacts, both N.C. and N.O. (no external micro switch). Furnished with two mounting brackets but no tubing. Positive and negative ports provided to accept about 3/16- 1/4 in I.D. tubing. A very unique switch and JUST what I required!.A perfect switch to provide warning of blocked HVAC air filters, etc.

I had a furnace air switch fail and the exact replacement part was about 50 bucks more expensive. This unit gives you all the options on wiring - normally open or normally closed. It comes with a spring kit so you can set the switch point. I picked the "standard" spring. good for .30 to .90 WC - dropped the spring in and turned the screw about 1 turn in (my estimate for a .40WC switch that this was replacing.) It comes with two different mounting brackets - was easy to install in the same space the old switch occupied.

It took some trial and error to get the correct setting but once set up it works flawlessly. I have it controlling two duct blowers in my HVAC system.
