The base of our salts is the precious white salt from the sea marshes on the coast of Mesolonghi. It is considered to be the caviar of sea salts, available in very limited quantities. Mesolonghi salt is 100% natural, unrefined, rich in natural minerals, and harvested using traditional methods. This delicious sea salt is blended with a selection of the finest exotic natural rock salt flakes from around the world, each with their own unique flavours and characteristics. Rock salts are mined rather than evaporated, mineral content is very rich, the crystals are substantial and often coloured. Himalayan salts are mined from pure salt deposits high in the mountains, and possess the rich, mineral flavour that is common to pink salt. Gentle and crunchy. Great with barbecued or highly-spiced food.
