Nice storage containers help extend the life of fruits and vegetables and stack well in the refrigerator.

Since I started using weight loss medication, one of the few things I can always enjoy without side effects are fresh fruits and veggies. I like to buy them in bulk once a week, wash everything, and store them. These containers have made that so much easier. They stack neatly, hardly take up any space, and keep produce fresh and delicious for so much longer. Meal prep feels like a breeze now. The only small negative is that they’re a bit flimsy. A couple of mine chipped on the corner of the covers. Still, for the convenience and how well they keep food fresh, I’m very happy with them.

I got the set of six 1.5 liter ones and I'm so glad!!! After much thought, researching, and measuring, I decided I would get two of these clear bins (https://www.amazon.com/mDesign-Plastic-Kitchen-Refrigerator-Organizing/dp/B07NQLDGT5/ref=sr_1_27?crid=2G6IAZVTDU7UJ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.SOlwEQ_yh9_n_3A181l8nEaft_C56-WYuQ6B4sTq_EtCGHkJpXabe4zLNMsfnFXtH3MHrET5caJNQT-cyrNuHE50xaCHKgDF54JjIuaTjStYdqwguGPaXe0lFcCRrGFzjBv79IBjvU36ljDJcFhQZd0v73Sr6syZ1qgbxPRQYttE1ihmckE4INMOdn6HFssCSdmprqJq-i1cKBBT9ntFm14pw700Ce714uesp7azA9Bd-R5j8PJAbgX6sxjNSm-e.H8XUAGLF8qEnEZdj-Q1jlYfHnlxNUfvi0pChyWVoelg&dib_tag=se&keywords=16%22%2Bclear%2Bskinny%2Bbin&qid=1720643105&s=home-garden&sprefix=16%2Bclear%2Bskinny%2Bbin%2Cgarden%2C395&sr=1-27&th=1), and add two of these 1.5 liter produce keepers, stacked, to each of the clear bins. Two of the produce keepers are dedicated to carrots, and two are dedicated to celery. I had to chop off about three inches of my celery bunch, and I had to remove about five of the stalks for the plant to be pared down enough to fit in the three inch high produce keeper, and the removed stalks fit perfectly in the second keeper. I'm so pleased,, this system works SO well!!! These keepers are about four inches shorter than the 16" long bins they're placed in, and so in that empty front space, I store a tub of yogurt or apples or whatever!!! Finally, great dedicated places for my frequently used produce!!! Everything is fitting like a glove, too, it's just incredible!!! I have those big, deep, clunky lower fridge drawers, and these produce keepers fit easily from the front to the back of those, at the top (the bottom dimension of the drawers is shorter from front to back, so as to keep a space for the fridge motor (or whatever it's called). These keepers don't fit across the lower drawer-bins, which would have been nice if they did for one more organizing option, but, all four are easily used on the top portion of the lower drawer-bins. Beneath them, and to prop them up so they are situated flatly, I will keep broccoli, cauliflower, and beets --- in containers which I haven't bought yet, but I know something will work in those nooks. The four keepers in the drawer-bins will keep sugar snap peas, beans, grapes portioned into little bundles, whatever. It's all going to work out fantabulously and this set of six 1.5 liter produce keepers seem like what ties the whole thing together! I haven't had them long enough to know how well they preserve the produce, but I presume they will work great. And, even if they're not outstanding in preserving the produce, well, who cares?--- My produce is now organized, and accessible (the 16" long bins are like great extra pull-out drawers), and with access to the produce, I will use it much more, so that there's less of a chance that it'll go bad. I also really love these narrower produce keepers over the larger ones, as it forces me to split the supply of celery and carrots, and so I can empty one bin first and use it for more produce or just put it away, instead of having a half empty bin wasting space. My fridge is becoming like a tightly engineered Japanese car engine, lol, but I'm loving it because it has "freedom" built in, and that is the whole point for me so that everything's functional and not a hassle. These produce keepers really seem to be the hinge which pulls it all together and I highly, highly, highly recommend them!!!
