Big G Creative Glyphics- A Social Game - charades Without Acting, doodling Without Drawing for Ages 10+

As a household with 3 generations living together we're always on the look out for games and activities that all the family can play. I stumbled across Glyphics on a list of fun christmas present ideas and given the cheap price thought it was worth trying out. The game comes with a lot of different shaped game pieces along with a set of clue cards that each have six clue cards (5 easy, 1 harder) that you have to get everyone else to try and guess. The rules take 5 mins to master - it's basically pictionary without the need to be an artist - and setup takes maybe 30 seconds. Our 5-year-olds love the guessing aspect even if they can't yet read all the clues (everyone gets a high five with each correct guess no matter the teams!), and Grandma and Grandpa loved that it was a game that they could play with the grandkids with little to no setup time or fuss. First time we opened the box we played for about 2 hours and it was the first thing the kids wanted to play the next morning. We also have a differently-abled member of the family who was able to manipulate the pieces and it means a lot to be able to include everyone in all the fun. I would (and have) unreservedly recommend this game to anyone. The attached picture was my attempt at a 'Bird House'. Having played with it for a month now I hope the makers add themed expansion cards (I'd love to see a movies version).

This game is so fun. It is our go to when people are getting awkward or tired at events. A great ice breaker or funny night ender. It is simple enough that as soon as a kid could read the words, they could play. And yet sophisticated enough that it won't be a problem roping Grandpa in.

Came on time. The game is a blast. We really enjoyed it.

My family and I have already played this a few times after receiving it just last week and I can tell it will be a favorite! At first everyone looked at their words that they had to build/draw and wondered how we could do it. It seemed very challenging, but we were shocked, surprised and very entertained at how many we were able to get! The game is competitive, but not brutally so. It taps into your creative side, and we'd be laughing and yelling while guessing the words. I had to build/draw "lava" (see picture) which was relatively easy. The other words were more challenging, but you can pick up the pieces able move them around to help get the clues across to the guessers. Great fun, even for non-gamers.

My family ABSOLUTELY LOVES THIS GAME! I can't believe this game didn't come out sooner, its like Pictionary on steroids, So hilarious and fun, my kids LOVE this game, BIG BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! Very easy to learn, no set up time and instant laughs for everyone! If you're looking for a fun time to spend with the whole family, this Glyphics is a MUST HAVE. So addicting!
