I am more disappointed than upset over such a simple oversight of quality ...
While I was very impressed with the special care and effort that went into the packing for shipment to ensure that each piece of the item was delivered free of damage from being shipped halfway around the world, I would have been more impressed if the same amount of care and effort went towards making sure each piece of the item was actually correct. The assembly is simple enough and takes only moments, however it appears that I have received the same two halves of the base structure and therefore they will not fit together into the functioning item as advertised. That being said, the product being sold and expected is indeed very unique and elegant and of decent quality and I would purchase a similar item in the future if there was more of an assurance that I would receive what is expected. I am more disappointed than upset over such a simple oversight of quality even considering that this was a birthday present for my fiance. If what came was the correct, advertised item. I would give 5 stars.

Love this vase!
Love this vase. More importantly, my wife does too. For more than 40 years I present a single red rose to my bride at every special occasion. This vase is a perfect compliment to highlight the rose and my love for her.
