My Experience with Car Window Film
I recently decided to try out a new car window film, and I have to say, I’m thrilled with the results. From the moment I applied it, I could tell the material was top-notch. Not only does it block out most UV rays, protecting my skin and keeping my car’s interior looking new, but it also helps keep the car cooler. This has been a game-changer, especially on hot days, as it reduces my need for air conditioning and saves fuel. Installing the film was a breeze. I was able to cut it to the exact size I needed without any hassle, and it went on smoothly without any annoying bubbles or creases. One of my initial concerns was whether it would affect my mobile signal, but I was relieved to find that my navigation and calls worked perfectly with no interruptions. The added privacy is fantastic, too. I feel more secure knowing people can’t easily see inside my car, yet my visibility remains clear. The film also significantly reduces glare from headlights at night, making my nighttime drives much more comfortable. The durability of this film is impressive. It’s scratch-resistant, so my windows still look pristine despite regular use. The excellent heat resistance means the interior stays cool, which further cuts down on my air conditioning use and enhances my overall driving experience. In conclusion, this car window film has been an amazing upgrade. It's high-quality, easy to install, and performs exceptionally well. I couldn't be happier with how it has improved my driving comfort and vehicle protection.

Use the correct side
My first time tinting my car. I got the 70% VLT for my side view mirrors to dampen the bright lights at night from newer cars. Took me 3 tries since I had to cut the shape and screw up the other 2 times. I watched videos online which helped alot. The results were really good and I felt great after the final result. I did damage the paper the first time and put the wrong side up the second time. So remember to read and watch instructions online and that should help tremendously. Good luck!

It’s a good item
I gave this film four stars because it really is not a bad item. I ordered the 50% tinted film. I was pleasantly impressed with the thickness of the film. It arrives with good instructions, booklet and video reference. It also contains the cutting tool and two spatulas. We got this film ONLY to cut down on the heat coming from the afternoon sun. So we weren’t going for expert results. We followed the directions by cleaning the window, very thoroughly, filling a bottle with a soap solution (to spray on window). We were very careful in making sure that the window was thoroughly prepped before installing the film. The film went on with no issues and was easy to position if you sprayed on enough soap liquid. We then squeegeed out all the bubbles and air pockets. This is the part you need to be very careful because it does scratch the film if you’re not easy with it. We did scratch an area. Unfortunately, I got the wrong size (not the company’s fault) but my curtains will hide the sides where it doesn’t cover completely. I’m happy with the results. As you can see it did darken it 50%. I’m already seeing a change in how cool the kitchen is now. I don’t know if I would use this on a car, I would make sure I have a professional install it for me. That’s just my opinion. There is an area that is already starting to flip up so we had to tape it down. This is not because of the film. It’s human errors and a lack of talent for installing window tint. This window film will definitely stay in my shopping cart list when I need to buy it again.

Difficult on easy job, can only imagine a complex job.
I recently got a Hard top for my Jeep TJ. My factory windows were already tinted, but the hard top was not. I don't think you could ask for an easier job than putting tint on the inside of a top on a Jeep. The windows are all exposed, and they are all flat. There is no interior trim blocking the window to be able to adhere the tint. It would be about the same as putting a 2" square section of tint smack dab in the middle of a 6" window. Pretty easy, you'd think. I watched several instructional videos detailing how to apply tint. This kit unexpectedly came with a razor blade and a squeegee, so that was a nice surprise. The tint came damaged, which was surprising. The small box was inside of an unnecessarily larger box, and both boxes were in tact. Somehow the tint was still crinkled. There was a note advising to let them know if it was damaged, and they'd replace it, but I wasn't too worried about a few wrinkles in the tint. All windows were cleaned in triplicate, inside and out. Scotch bright, razor blade, and just squeegee. The directions say to use a lot of water. I used about 8oz of soapy water on each 2" section. It actually adhered pretty good to the outside of the window when I was trimming it for size. A few of those crinkled spots were wrinkled, but it was at least staying. Once I took the film off and put it on the inside, that's when I started having trouble. None of the edges would stick. All three windows, on all four sides kept peeling up. I tried more water, less water. Head gun, no heat gun. Nothing worked. I resorted to taping the tint down to the glass to keep it from peeling while it dried, but now I have bubbles all over the edges. Ironically enough, the crinkled damage portion wasn't directly on the edge, and didn't cause any problem sticking. Maybe I just got a bad batch.

Okay budget film
For the price can you complain? meh. The quality isn't great as one could imagine. If you’re looking to practice it might be fine, although this film is harder to shrink due to the quality. It takes a lot more heat to shrink and sometimes it doesn’t quite behave making this a paradox for a beginner. Sure its cheap but shrinking the film is difficult with a cheap film. So i suppose you learn the hard way which would make higher quality films easier to shrink once you upgrade. After learning how to handle this film i installed on front windshield, it was fine enough but in the desert sunshine this tint wont last more than 3 months. Once applied the film uniformity is a bit hazy and it has a blueish tint to it. if you’re on an extreme budget and just want to learn how to shrink this film might be okay. I would think twice if you are particular.

Great tint! Watch some YouTube videos to help.
I have been using this 30% tint for all of my east/west house windows. Works great and comes with everything you need. Some notes for application for non professionals: dilute regular hand soap with water in a spray bottle. No lotions or degreaser. Spray the window and place the tint on the window with the peel off side against the window to trim to size. Take off and then clean the window. Now peel the backing off, spray the sticky side of the tint and the window generously. Place on window and squeegee the liquid out. The liquid will get in the edges of the corners and bottom so do your best there. Check it every 3 to 4 hours to see if you need to squeegee the bottom and corners again to get it to stick until it has dried enough to stay on.

Would recommend for someone with slight experience and patience
Pretty decent considering the very good price your paying for it. Not perfect but turned out pretty good for someone who is handy but doesn't really know what they are doing. I'm sure a professional could make this stuff look pretty much perfect. The question is how long will it last.would recommend!
