I use this as a bathing suit cover.
This is a very cute dress, it has a pretty deep V in the front, much lower than the picture looks. For me it was more than just cleavage, there was no way to keep my bra covered. So either wear an undershirt or use a safety pin to hold it shut. Also, the middle wasn't what I expected. There is almost like a ruched belt in the middle and if you are tall or have a longer torso, you will end up with a more empire waist look. It works perfectly over my bathing suit when I want to go straight to a eat from the pool or beach, and that was what I bought it for.
