I expected these to be more solid for the money. The jaws immediately twisted making it difficult to pickup or move large firewood.I got them straightened back and took more care not to get them sideways where it loads the jaws at an angle.These are probably ok for very light duty work, but for the money there are better solutions out there.

I purchased this item for when I go camping. I’m excited to use it. It was larger and sturdier than I expected. I’m excited to use it the next time I go out.

I didn't think it would be s o strong and well made, a bit heavy for me though but I think that is because of the quality and material. It has teethy alligator type mouth and it helps with grip to move around the logs while they are burning in fir pit. This is my elder sons fav too he treats it as toy just because of the shape but its is very practical. I have heavily used it as we as family are fond of bone fire and camping. I have always taken it with me for those ever since I got this. The teethe mouth isn't sharp rather blunt yet grips hard. its long enough that I kept it in our fir pit and the heat didn't reach the last handle and I was still able to hold it with bare hands to move around the logs
