I bought this to replace a very old latex pillow. The 12cm is too thin but this 14cm is very firm and I found it uncomfortable. Also BEWARE...they come from Italy and very expensive to return if it isn't right. I went to send it back in its original box and tracked as suggested by the company but quickly changed my mind when I found out it would be £43! Taken the risk of sending it in a bag in normal post and praying I get a refund! It still cost me £12. I will be very careful where I buy things from abroad again.

Bought this on 21st August 2015 after it had come back into stock. I am used to a hard pillow and found this does marginally have more give than the previous (non-latex) pillows I was using. I am finding it rather difficult to get used to. In addition it does smell (packaging says not, but it most certainly does). I think that if this is your first latex pillow then perhaps buy something that hasn't come from Italy (difficult to return). It was also rather strangely packaged in a plastic bag with a zip which didn't work very well. I'm unsure if my search for the perfect pillow is ongoing, but this will do for now out of all the pillows that I seem to have. Best of a not brilliant bunch. The smell does seem to be dissipating (or I'm just getting used to it). It does seem to be popular with people who have had latex pillows before, so perhaps I'll grow to love it. At the moment, it's fine.

It's a good quality pillow however I found it hard to sleep on. It's also slightly longer than an average pillow so is a tight fit to fit a standard pillow case. I wouldn't buy another one but this is down to the hardness of the pillow.

I had previously purchased the 12cm pillow and loved it - highly recommend. I ordered the 14cm one and was disappointed. It is much firmer and the smell on mine was very strong even after airing outside for a couple of weeks. I contacted the company who happily shipped me a new 12cm one FOC which arrived in 2 days, it is perfect with no smell. So to sum up, you can get a smelly one but the company were great at dealing with this. The 14cm is a firm pillow with the 12cm for me being much more like the original HP1s which some of us loved. I will definitely get more in the future.

Product itself is a good alternative to the far more expensive Dunlopillo. However, it is on the firm side and I'm finding the 14cm depth too high... unfortunately the 12cm is currently unavailable.

Read my original thoughts below - but I have changed my mind. I persisted with the pillow and all discomfort faded away and I now love the it. Upgrading my rating to 4 stars.I really wanted to like this pillow. I found it hard during the first week but deemed that adjustment. I woke every morning with discomfprt in my neck but decided to give it time. I'm patient but after sleeping on this pillow for 3 months and still waking up with a pain in my neck I am finally giving up on it.

Not like the dunlopillo as stated in some of the reviews. I received mi e very promptly but it has the same damage that another reviewer has in that the ventilation holes have torn through on both sides. Do they think it will be as durable as the original dunlopillo. Height is good and very little smell but due to the damage and I am not sure how it will last so I am considering returning it.

I have always bought Latex pillows but this pillow was not as soft as others I have bought. It was too firm for me but my husband likes his pillows firm.
