This was my first time using oil paints, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I read the reviews, and was skeptical because a lot of complaints came from poor quality and the oil separating from the paint. But I thought, “might as well risk it because hopefully I won’t receive a bad batch”. My oil paints arrived in good shape, with minor damage to the original packaging (not a complaint, trust). I popped the oil paints out onto a palette and the paint was THICK. I’m so glad I bought linseed oil ahead of time, because painting would have been disastrous 😭. Anyway, the colors are beautiful, and may be a funky array of hues, but when you start mixing and playing around with the colors, they truly do work well, and your painting will look sooo good so long as you incorporate color theory. For people wanting to know if it’s worth it, I think so. The tubes are smallish, about 5 inches in length and 3 inches max in width. The colors come out thick, and so long as you’re using a medium and painting on a somewhat small canvas (for me, it’s 24 x 36), you’ll have plenty of paint. The more medium you mix into your oil paints, the more time it will take your painting to dry. So drying could take weeks. 😭. The price isn’t half bad, either. It’ll last you awhile if you thin your paint out for the first few layers, but make sure to go thick over thin 👍🏼 10/10, i would continue using this brand after a tube or two runs dry.

There are a lot of paint brands, this is the best! The oil paint looks great when dry, mixes well with paint thinner and linseed oil. The paint in the tube goes a long way. I will definitely buy this again!

40 color set has a BEAUTIFUL range of colors that’ll work for abstracts, landscapes, portraiture or even the Bob Ross technique. Nice buttery consistency and stiff enough for wet on wet. No oil spewed out from the tube despite it being shipped- which is impressive!

Many, if not most, of the tubes exude oil that has separated from the paint when first opened. It's a mess. That being said, when you do reach the paint, it is creamy, easy to work with and well pigmented. Overall, the paint is good, just be prepared for a gush of oil.

I was very impressed with the colors that they chose. There was only one missing that I had hoped to get. That was cadnium yellow, but there were 6 yellows to pick from. It came with the most commonly used colors, purple was also missing. It came with an extra white tube and plenty of umber’s and sienna‘s. The quality is average no complaints.
