Queen Anne Luxury 100% Down Pillow - European White Goose Down - Cruelty Free Hotel Pillows - Made in USA (King Medium)

I purchased this for my husband,whose beloved down "poobie" finally died a lumpy death. My research revealed this Queen Anne Pillow would be a good value. He says, after several nights, that it's a "poobie-in-training." Still a little bit too poofy (i.e., not soft) enough. We both think it will squish down soon to his preference. I took off one star because the cover fabric felt a little rough to me, although I can remedy that with the zippered cover I will purchase. I like very, very high quality organic, untreated cotton. However, I may purchase one of these as my own second pillow to replace a synthetic-fill one I use to prop my head when I read in bed. My down pillow is for actual sleeping. By the time my "sleeping" pillow wears out, this one would be just perfectly soft. I haven't washed this new one yet; I wash all down pillows at least once a year, and dry in several cycles of a low heat dryer with clean tennis balls. There are no dry cleaners in my city which clean or launder pillows. I know this cuts down on the life of the pillow, which is one other reason I wanted a good value. UPDATE MAY 5, 2017. This is a follow-up to my original review. I have added one more star, because this pillow only took a week or so to soften up. It's just great for my husband and exactly to his preference for a very soft down pillow. The cover is no big deal when I use soft organic cotton pillowcases. I definitely plan to purchase another one of these for myself very soon.Second Update:// I have just purchased this same pillow for myself. My spouse is still in love with the pillow. I find myself sneaking it when he stays up late reading. I now will have two down pillows and consider myself very fortunate indeed. This is a really good value pillow.

This pillow has changed my life. Big statement? Yes. But true. I have long suffered from neck problems (due to chasing adventures and a high level fusion) as well as lower back problems. I am very serious about my pillows. It literally is the foundation of my happiness. If I don't get a good night sleep, or worse I wake up with a stiff / sore neck it can ruin my day. I have been in and out of pillows and I'll try anything. Pretty much have tried everything at all the big box stores. Look this pillow isn't the cheapest. And why should it be? It's a 100 down pillow. I normally wouldn't be looking for a luxury pillow but I also respect quality and am happy to pay for quality. I wasn't able to make up my mind so I reached out to people at Queen Anne and they couldn't have been more helpful. They answered all my questions and then some. I used their pillow picking graphic tool and was confident that this was the right match for my needs. One more call to Customer Service to confirm I was on the right track and they were there to answer all my final questions - I'm going to be buying a few more of these for the house. My pillow search is over! Queen Anne Pillows are the best!

This pillow is thick and springs back nicely into shape. Made in USA which is also a plus. Unfortunately, I have not been able to use this pillow. The one I received has many creases in the fabric and also smells like it was previously used. If I’m paying $200+ I expect much better everything and maybe perhaps a special box for the pillow instead of a plastic bag.

I am quite particular with pillows and always on the look out for a high quality pillow, with the hope that it will help with the neck pain I have. I am a side sleeper and bought a normal queen pillow, as suggested by listing. The pillow is of high quality, well made; it arrived without the drying ball and the ‘do not disturb’ hanging sign (as shown the picture). It feels very comfortable around my neck and I enjoyed the first night using it. However, as I continued to use it on second night, I began to feel the pressure from the pillow against my head because it was very firm. This got worse as I continued through my third and fourth nights, so I need to stop using it. I feel it’s way too firm for me. I think I will try the soft version of this and see if that works better for me.

I think I am in love! I have tried every kind of pillow under the sun. I resisted this one for a while because it’s so expensive but I have a herniated disc and my neck is increasingly painful and stiff as a result. I’m a side and stomach sleeper and I’m now at the point where the weight of my own head causes so much pain when I lay on my stomach and put my head on a pillow that I have to find a new position to sleep in. I slept on this pillow last night and it was like sleeping on a cloud. I had about an 80% reduction in pain just because of the softness and support from this pillow. I’m so happy I bought it. Sure, it’s an indulgence but when you’re trying to sleep and pain is an issue, it’s really money well spent. I highly recommend it!

Have been using Down Pillows for over 45 years and was in need of new. Son & his wife just purchased and recommended Queen Anne, They love them as they helped resolved his sleep problems. I reviewed on Amazon and found price to be within normal range for quality pillows, however was concerned about a couple reviews, such as smell (I have Allergies), size and quality. I purchased King Firm and found them to be absolutely wonderful and comfortable, As for review concerns, I found not even the hint of smell, the size perfectly fits my King Pillow Cases and quality of ticking and stitching are excellent. I would definitely recommend the pillows to anyone who appreciates quality pillow and a good nights sleep. Gary R
