Superbly crafted, well balanced, and very effective balm. It has a medium hold and softens the beard without leaving residue. The scent is uplifting, classic, and nuanced.It is a bit grainy out of the tin (naturally), but with a quick and thorough rub between the palms, it emulsifies easily and distributes through the beard excellently.And the included sticker is simply awesome. I tried several beard balms. Most have alcohol even though they claim they are all natural. Not this one! All natural that goes on very nice. Leaves a mild shine and not an oily residue. Calms hairs that are out of place. Just make sure to finish with wet hands over the beard calm those hairs sticking out. After a few uses i did end up breaking out. So be careful if you have sensitive skin.

I wanted to use this product for a few days before I posted a review. I’ve been using it for several weeks now. It has a bit thicker consistency than other balms I have used and I think thats a good thing. The scent is exactly what I wanted and as for the effect on my beard, it is soft and manageable. I can’t find a single thing about this product that I don’t love. As for the company, their service is top shelf as the product arrived early and was perfectly packaged. They reached out to me to make sure I was satisfied and I’m afraid they are now stuck with me.

The balm is nice. Not too thick. I gave it four stars because I was hoping the scent would be stronger. It is a very nice scent, but I personally prefer a stronger scent. It will be just right for most though. I ordered "The Orchard".I did buy Odins Rok later and if I could do a separate review I'd give it five stars. The scent is amazing and strong enough for me. Love Cherry Tobacco. The wife loves it too. Will definitely buy this again.

I’m usually a grave before shave guy but I decided to give this a try and it worked out great. I love the scent. The scent is a big selling point for me, just as important as the hold and healthiness it provides. I’ve used honest Amish and the hold was great but the scent was terrible, so much so that I didn’t even want to use it. This on the other hand is the whole package. I rank it up there with GBS.

The good:Firstly, I love this beard balm. This was my second purchase of it, so you know I liked it the first time! It is the right consistency for my somewhat coarse, medium length beard. It's not so oily that it provides too little hold and not so waxy so that it is too difficult to melt and apply to my beard. I am not a guy who wears a lot of scents, and I find that most beard oils and balms are very scent heavy, but not Yggdrasil. It has a light, bright scent. I would still probably prefer unscented, but if I have to have a scent, this is a good choice. It is slightly more expensive than the other brands I had tried, but after using it, I am definitely willing to shill out a few extra dollars because a good product is a good product.And for the problems I had:Now, I ordered this in the late spring, and we had an unusually hot week and as such about half of the balm had melted and dripped out of the container into the box. I typically try to contact the seller if there are any problems and Mad Viking did not disappoint. They responded within a couple of hours with a promise to send a replacement. Quick, fair customer service is how you build repeat customers (and the reason I chose to write a review).

Very good product. I've tried many other beard products out there, but so far this is the only one that provides the hold, shine, good smell, and most importantly, it does not hurt my beard hairs. Using other products, I have always had a big problem with split ends on my beard hairs. That practically has stopped once I began using mad Viking balms. I recomend trying out all the different scents, this one smells a lot like cedar. I've also tried the Radnorock before and it smelled morr citrusy. All good smells, but its good to have variety
