Hard to get out of narrow top bottle.....but they taste great!

This seemed like a good deal on some of my favorite olives, but while the texture is pretty good, these are so incredibly salty as to be almost inedible. Spilling even a little bit in the kitchen left a thick salt crystal crust on the counter. The flavor of the olive is almost completely wiped out, and while several water baths helped a little, they are just not up to par with other pitted Spanish olives available on Amazon. I sometimes have to spit out the brine after chewing to get through it. Back to Ybarra for me.

I had never cared much for green olives, that is until I went to Spain, and had Spanish olives. Wow! I did a 180 with their rich, delicious flavor, so I only buy green olives from Spain (and olive oil too!).I was looking forward to trying these, but sadly, I found them to be extremely salty - and not as flavorful as others I've had.They would be good for tapenade, as the previous reviewer stated, or in a pasta sauce, or any "dish", as they will add flavor & salt (so you can adjust the final taste), and hold up well, however, I wouldn't recommend them as a superior "stand alone" to eat by themselves, which was the primary reason I bought them. I got them on sale, so at least the price was reasonable.I took off one point each for flavor, and too much saltBottom Line: Suitable for recipes, don't recommend as a stand-alone olive for appetizer/snack.

I love olives, and eat them like candy. I subscribe and save to these olives, which means I always have some in stock. I like the smaller jars- they help me keep my portion size in check.

A bit expensive, but they taste so good

Ordered 6 jars for Bloody Mary gifts. One of the jars arrived opened and spilled all over the bag and other jars.

Love these olives and 2nd time buying them. 1st time went well but this time 2 of the jars were shattered inside the bubble wrap and it was quite a delicate procedure to get the useable jars out.

These are good olives. Nice and firm with good taste. I used some in the olive tapenade and they tasted great in there too! Good product.
