Good value for money
Good price and good value money and did what they are designed to do, I used 2 of the three sizes ,, one to pilot, one to widen,, drills are sharp enough for hard woods

A gadget.
Handy length now and then. Not the best drill bit. The smaller one almost straightened itself under a little pressure. The larger ones have been ok so far.

You get what you pay for.
I purchased this drill set to do one job, to drill 5 x 12 mm diameter holes through tanalised railway sleepers used to make raised beds.Being conscious of some of the adverse comments made by other reviewers, I kept the drill speed low to avoid overheating the bit and frequently stopped to clear the wood dust from the grooves in the shank of the bit. After the first hole was completed, I noticed the bit had warped slightly. As my work did not have to be really precise, this did not cause any problems. In the end, I got all 5 holes drilled with no problems.I did not use the 8 mm and 10 mm bits.I tried to use the 12 mm bit with my cordless drill, but it was too big for the chuck, so I used my electric drill instead. On reflection, I'm not sure if my cordless drill would have enough torque to use the 12 mm bit (even if it fitted in the chuck).I would suggest that if you required a professional quality 12 mm bit it would probably cost £30 or more. You get what you pay for. These bits are only suitable for DIY users who have a one-off need to drill a few deep holes in wood and who, like me, might never use these bits for any other job.

Make your own floating shelves.
Excellent solution for making your own floating shelves with an accurate and strong holding hole for your wall brackets to fit into. Unlike the cheapest from other well known cheap stores!

Just the ticket for drilling for a floating shelf bracket
I had some free floating shelf brackets that needed a 12mm diameter and 150mm depth drilling in an unknown piece of hardwood …. Hammer drill setting on and these made light work of it ….. hopefully get more use out of them making more upcycle projects
