Work well. The infrared red light is not as dark as we were hoping but they work as intended.

This was exactly what we needed to replace the bulb in our heat lamp for our baby chicks. It fit well in the heat lamp we already had and provided the perfect amount of heat to keep our chicks healthy and happy during the colder winter/spring days. I appreciate that this does the job well but is also reasonably priced. I would recommend this to anyone looking to raise baby chicks successfully.

Liked them but it got to cold had to get the 250 after all, got down to 20 with new babies..

These inexpensive, incandescent heat lamps are suitable for use in any American house or 99.9% of businesses. The bulbs are case hardened, but do not begin to qualify as explosion-proof, and cannot be used in locations subject to flammable vapors. I doubt that they can be used under water. This paragraph is written a year later. One bulb burned out too early, but the second bulb is doing fine. This is typixal of incandesent filaments. I am reordering to be on the save side.

Got what I needed

I had purchased a different bulb in the past that was huge. This light is a nice size. It gives off a enormous amount of light and heat. It's very well made of quality parts. I believe this bulb will last a very long time. I feel it's a great deal for the money.

Both lamps only lasted a couple hundred hours. I do not recommend them.

I couldn’t even find any in a store and I easily found what I was looking for online. It saved me so much time. Would definitely buy again when needed.

These heat bulbs do a decent job overall. I used them in a brooder setup and they provided consistent warmth for my chicks. The heat output is solid—not scorching but definitely enough to keep a small area warm. Build quality feels okay, and they’ve held up so far without any issues. Not the most powerful bulbs I’ve used, but for the price, they do the job just fine.
