Simple and Easy
The Ginfonr Christmas lights hooks are simple to use. The straight side easily slips over the edge of the gutter. The lights wire could be attached either in the lower circular/curl portion or thorogh the top of the hook. It is a bit of a challenge to get the wire down in the circular portion of the hook, but it is very secure. I used the end of blunt scissors to open the curl of the circular portion. Using your fingers to get the wire in the curl is hard and the fingers get sore. It is hard to stand on a ladder and work with your fingers in the cold. I suggest the hooks be added to the lights prior to taking them outside to hang. The hooks could be spaced 3 feet or more apart and be secure. These hooks will make taking down the lights easier. Leave the hooks on for next year. Edit: These hooks also worked with an inch wide porch railing. The curl can lodge in the trough under the top of the rail or flip it over and the straight side can go under the railing.
