Nice depth of colour, easy application
very easy to use, value for money because a little goes a long way - of course it depends on the depth of colour. showing you a before and after. I didn't use any cleaning agent before hand. I just used an old rag to wipe off dust.

Worked brilliantly
I used Angelus dye to colour a new pair of brown boots to black, it went on really easy and evenly, I was worried it would look streaky but had no problems whatsoever, they look great imo. Excellent product. Ps- I did use the Angelus primer first and used the Angelus Matte scratch resistant top coat. None are expensive so all in all great value and great result.

Get prepared before you begin the process.
Prepare the leather beforehand. Follow the instructions. Very easy to use. The small sponge that is included provides a smooth application. Wear rubber gloves. Protect your clothes and the surrounding area. Better to use on a flat, protected area. I let the shoes dry overnight before applying polish. Very pleased with the overall result.

Glossy black
I used it on my motorcycle jacket from Dainese, so good quality leather. My jacket was black and white so I wanted all black and used it on the white bits. It comes out GLOSSY BLACK ! very shiny compared to the black on the rest of the jacket that isnt very old and well looked after. You get alot out of the bottle so lots left over. I did one coat and left it overnight, but next day was still tacky and wet. I decided to put it out in direct sunlight outside to dry and it dried in about an hour. Did the second coat outside as well and it dried also within an hour..I recommend direct warm sunlight to dry it. Overall good stuff.

Works well don't need much..
This leather dye is perfect.. Doesn't need much to give a good clear coverage. I used it to take light brown pig skin to jet black... I used the applicator supplied in the kit. After just one coat the difference was amazing... With the second coat it was jet black all over without any streaks or marks.. Highly recommend this dye for a good reliable coating...

Shades of blue
Not recommended on suede but thought I’d give it a go on a pair of cheap second hand boots. Loved the style but the blue was too pale. I think the end product was pretty good. Got the navy boots I wanted!

Very deep midnight blue
I found the aint to be very patchy. It took me three coats to get an even colour wich eventually turned very dark. It was very, very dark.

EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Normally, I don’t write reviews… a product has to be bad or exceptionally good for me to bother. This leather dye is next level fantastic! My project, to restore a 35 year old sword harness and scabbard that was in rough shape and brown. The product is so easy and quick to use. What I thought would be a few hours of application took 30mins max for 5 substantial pieces of knackered leather and the scabbard. The applicator swabbed the dye on in seconds. I have applied a single coat so far. Total coverage of uniform colour without a single streak or patch. The single coat is enough to make original brown completely disappear, the same coverage on the rougher edges. I will apply a second coat because I always do, but it isn’t necessary on this project. To date, 2 coats on the scabbard and one coat on everything else with only half the bottle used… very economical. Unexpected bonus, the old leather, now dampened with the dye was easy to flatten out under a few books and now looks as good as new. In between usage of the product I keep the applicator in a zip top bag and it remains totally usable. Pictures show before and after having applied a single coat, the handy way the packaging doubles up as a stand to prevent spills and how the applicator is stored (zip bag not supplied). I am beginning to suspect that Donald Trump uses an orange version of this on his complexion… I’m sure he will want to sue me now! If you have made it this far through my experiences with this product, THANK YOU FOR READING, hope it helps.

This dye worked perfectly on my leather shoes.

My bag was damage by bleach 😩 I could easily do the whole bag with only 1/4 of the dye bottle ! Really good 👍

I used this dye to fix up some patchy-coloured ottomans. The first ottoman was less patchy, so I experimented with layering the dye on the light spots. I definitely didn’t need to, as now I have dark spots that don’t 100% blend in. Still an improvement though! For the second, more damaged one, I simply coated the entire seat and it nearly blended in the light marks. A second, light coat over the light marks blended them in very nicely. My favourite part about this dye is that, once it was dry, it no longer secreted dye. Meaning, I felt comfortable sitting on the ottoman without worrying about dye seeping into my pants. Minimal cleanup and care work after. If you see splotches in the photo, it’s just because I used conditioner that hadn’t fully been absorbed or wiped off yet. Very impressive dye: all the steps I’d planned to make this project more complicated weren’t needed as the dye took care of everything.

Excellent rich color leather dye. Easy to apply and cured well. Remains flexible. I was able to give new life to a soft leather purse I have that had seen its better days. Now it looks like new! The color I used is navy blue. The color coverage was even. I was a little worried that it might be blotchy. No problem at all. Top notch! I will use this company’s matte finishing sealant to be sure the color does not rub off.
