A very impressive toy for children, great quality.
The Learning Resources Gears! Gears! Gears! RoverGears arrived in a small-medium sized box and you can hear the pieces move around inside when picked up. We gave the toy as a present to our friend’s son who was very impressed to receive this. The gears and cogs type toy is known to us from previous experience. The putting together of the toy and making the cogs turn around presented no challenges to the 4 year old. He was much appreciative and took his time playing with this very nice quality and well-constructed and thought out design of toy. Nice construction overall durability and the nice bold colours and various elements comprise of a good toy experience. It lends itself to good imaginative play and is quite excellent in the time that you can spend playing. He looked the toy and we as a family are very pleased to have received this.

Clever toy
Fantastic toy for inquisitive minds. Teaches the cause-effect principle in a fun way. It’s ultimately a very basic toy - a bunch of gears put together according to some instructions, but there’s something about them that fascinates the little minds. The toy, easy to put together for a 4-year old with some help, forms the basis of hours of fun.

fun sets
I have reviewed some Learning Resources toys before and I am quickly becoming a big fan of the products. They encourage play and make sure it’s with a learning aspect in mind, so I am really keen on these products. The current price is £13 and honestly for a 38 piece set i don’t think you can go wrong. It teaches the use of gears and putting it altogether. It is a nice size for little hands and without too much assistance my two got on fine with it. They played together well with it and again for the price I think it’s fantastic and I highly recommend these sets.

Fun and tactile
I got this for my son, he is a little bit too young for this type of this but it just looked cool and even if he can’t build it he can play with the built product. Just happened my grandad was looking after him for the day so I give him a project and for him to build it for my little on. Safe to say my 60 year old grandad struggled to building it but had fun in the process. My little one loves playing with the finished projects like I thought he would and loves that all the gears moved as he pushed it along.

Got our child thinking
This makes a good change from the usual dinosaurs and puzzles our son plays with and really got him thinking about how to put things together to get the cogs turning. We might get a couple more to give as gifts for classmates' birthdays.
