Do not buy this product if you think it’s gonna taste anything like sea urchin.
Do not buy this product. I read some bad reviews, and decided to try it out for myself. First off, there are no whole pieces of urchin, instead it is some soupy mess of bits. There is zero urchin flavor, this taste more like a can of cheap smoked oysters, but crushed up into little bits floating in a brine. All good though, I knew it was gonna be 50/50. Save your money.

Tastes great!!
Seafood is my favorite and uni is one of my most favorite. This is a good portion per can, although it’s not aesthetically pleasing it does the job. Topped on some rice and it’s perfect. It’s not as creamy as I’d have hoped but tastes just fine. I drained it and patted it dry.

Disappointed
Taste was good. But it was more like soup than anything else. Very little solids. Not what I was expecting.

Trust in the selling company
As you open the can you can see the contents are small broken pieces of ssea urchin pieces all broken into small pieces and crumbs the majority of them submerge in a cloudy liquid. All tasteless. The flavor of sea urchin is unrecognizable. Amazon should not be selling this product. I don’t intent to reorder at all. It was disappointing.

Sea urchin in brine (uni) is not a good combination.
It tastes nothing like Uni (sea urchin) that you get in sushi, or at a fish shop. It does not taste bad. There's not much in a can plus with such a strange consistency, what do you do with it? Spread it on toast? Top a bowl of rice? Also, it lacks that wonderful nutty taste of raw sea urchin.

GEOMAR Sea Urchin in Brine - Chilean Sea Urchin, Gourmet Tinned
Not my cup of tea. Always wanted to try Sea Urchin. Ate it all same day as arrival, which wasn't much. Overpriced for the quantity, that's for sure. Not formed sea urchin at all, just little, small bits of pieces in a lot of liquid. Not great.
