Flavour Name:Moroccan Lamb Product description 'MEAT' THE ULTIMATE SNACK High in protein and paleo inspired, Moroccan Lamb Fori bars are a meat based savoury alternative to over processed and sweet tasting snack bars. They're made from the finest grass fed meat, dried fruit and seeds, using age-old techniques to provide superior sustenance. Lead the way with our Pioneer box which contains 12 bars of Moroccan Lamb with Apricot & Date. The perfect accompaniment to any adventure. But what does it taste like? In truth, unlike anything you've ever tasted before. Sweet spices combine with the bold flavour of lamb and crunchy seeds to deliver a supremely satisfying punch. Our bars are oven baked, so they're far softer than jerky. The closest similarity would be meat-loaf or a flavorsome Kofta. As you know, lamb is a fatty meat and even though we've chosen the leanest of cut (shoulder) to add to our bars, please don't be surprised to find some residue in the pack, it's all good stuff. Ingredients British Grass Fed Lamb (69%) Free Range Egg White Powder, Sunflower Seeds, Beef Stock, Dried Apricots (5%) Dried Dates (4%), Cumin, Coriander, Smoked Paprika, Cayenne, Cinnamon, Ginger, Tumeric, Allspice, Salt, Vegetable Fibre, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Mint, Parsley, Dehydrated Garlic, Red Bell Pepper, Dehydrated Lemon Peel, Spice Extracts

Not recommended, look elsewhere for low fat and low carb snack
I purchased this product as I was looking for a snack to have in the work drawer. My criteria was something that was relatively low in fat and carbs - I decided to try the product as it met the criteria. The texture is quite stranger as it is soft but at the same time stringy and grainy. Deceptively the product also contains bits of bone and pit which I discovered unfortunately while eating one of these. The manufacturer does put a disclaimer about there being bits of hard things on the back of the packet where no one will read it upon first try.The flavour and smell of the product are also, in my view, not nice. The lemongrass flavour does not play nice with the ingredients here. The smell is rather off putting as it reminded me of cat treats I give my cat.Overall I would not recommend the product if you are looking for a low fat and low carb snack. It is simply not worth it.

Fulfilling
My body seemed to be rejecting protein shakes, as I I wanted a savory tasting protein bar so decided to go with the Fori brand. After my workout I consumed one. Very glad I did as these are moist, right texture and flavor. You could say it is actually a meal, doing a lot of cycling, fitness and busy work. The taste is that of tenderised roast beef, but tenderised a slight sweetness. Every bite was savoured. Will be buying this brand again without a doubt.

Slimey and strange
I was excited to try a paleo snack but these have the consistency of dog food and that is where the rest of my 11 bars are going....to my two dogs. I should add that prior to eating this I had fasted for a period of 16 hours - I am normally so hungry anything tastes delicious, but this is just not for me...

I enjoyed these and will buy again
I enjoyed these and will buy again. I like the idea of adding other ingredients (like pine nuts, fruit etc) to make a more diverse snack with the classic jerky taste & a softer bite because of the fibre. The only slight winge are the bars seem kinda wet when you open the packet. Will try another flavour.

Moroccan Lamb flavour.
These are, imho, absolutely delicious. Very hard to limit my consumption of these but necessary because of the calories and the price!

I think I've vomited nicer flavour
Don't normally do this review thing. But I bought the 12 pack. Think oh my this is gonna be good. Trying the first one now it's disgusting, it's like licking a spicy ar@& can't believe I've got another 11 of these to get through
