I bought these for a friend who has lots of knives but none that can cut very well. These are clearly quality knives and perfect for the person how likes to cook!

Solid build! Non only sharp, but also can be sharpened (based on ~6 month ownership). Balance is a bit too much towards the handle, but that's a matter of taste. Overall, Very good price/quality ratio.

These knives arrived just in time to make my shrimp dumpling for the lunar new year. Right out of the wooden block box I felt it was well made. I mainly use the 8" knife because needed the weight of the knife to cut and dice the shrimp into pulp. It was pretty sharp so dice through the scallions with ease and the defrosted shrimp without any effort.I like how the blade runs from the tip all the way to the to the end. Unlike my older knife the blade stop at about an inch before the end.The two smaller knives are made with the same type of blade with walnut wood handle, which makes it less likely to slip off your hand so you don't cut yourself.This set is perfect as gift because it comes in this beautiful wooden box. Initially got this for my uncle because he is a chef but decided I needed more than he does. So I'm keeping this set ;)
